Rick was awesome taking in the needs we had for the project and laying out the best and most economical way of making that happen for us. Jeromy and Hugo and the rest of the install team did a great job with the install. Everyone showed up on time and the project got done in no time. The SmartJack system we had put in looks very robust and easy to adjust for future raising. I'm sitting in a 130-year-old house with solid, level floors now and I couldn't be happier with the entire process.

Leaking Crawl Space Encapsulation in Elgin, MN

In Elgin, MN, a homeowner noticed water leaks in their crawl space. Not seeing the severity of the issue, the homeowner decided to put it off until they noticed mold growth. Concerned it would continue to grow worse, the homeowner began looking into waterproofing contractors around the area and found us. After browsing through our website and learning that we also install radon mitigation systems, the homeowner decided to contact us and schedule their FREE estimate.

In less than a week, our Design Specialist, Ryan K., arrived at the home to conduct a thorough inspection of the crawl space. During the inspection, he took note of the areas where mold growth and water leaks were present. The homeowner also expressed concerns for the radon levels in their home, as they tested their home for radon a while ago, and it read over 4 pCi/L. Ryan worked closely with the homeowner and began working on a custom solution that would both prevent further mold growth in the crawl space and lower the radon levels in the home. For the crawl space, Ryan recommended installing Drainage Matting, which is designed to drain any water leaks from the ground to the crawl space drain, CleanSpace, our vapor wall barrier that prevents water from entering the crawl space, and Aprilaire, our strong dehumidifier that controls humidity levels. In Elgin, MN a homeowner was wanting to make a change to her front concrete spaces, including the walkway and stoop. She was eager to find an effective solution that wouldn't break the bank, so she asked her family and friends for some recommendations. Design Specialist Dustin Loftus arrived at the home to speak more with the homeowner and come up with some recommendations for repairs. Later, one of our Foremen, Patrick Burnes, and his crew went to the site and began the process by drilling small pencil-sized holes in the concrete. Then, they inserted ports through the holes to connect to the empty space below the surface and completed the PolyLevel injection to lift the slabs. Next, they filled in the holes and the large joint in between the walkway and stoop with NexusPro sealant. To finish, they sprinkled some native sand on top of the sealant for a smooth look and the homeowner was thrilled with how the project turned out.

Sunken Concrete Stoop Repaired in Elgin, MN
