A homeowner in North Branch, MN, began smelling a bad odor throughout their home. After doing some investigating, the homeowner determined that the smell was coming from the crawl space. Our Foreman, Matt, and his crew began production by installing one Helical Pier on the north wall. Once the Helical Pier was in place, the crew cleared the debris off of the dirt floor. After the floor was cleared, the crew laid down the drainage matting, a liner that gives the flooding water in your crawl space a place for the water to go. Since the draining matting was secured into place, the crew mechanically installed CleanSpace on top of the drainage matting and the crawl space walls. CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof plastic vapor barrier that protects from mold growth and water intrusion. The crew then installed Foamax, insulation for basement walls, onto all the interior walls of the crawl space. Finally, the crew utilized Sprayfoam to fill the upper wall joists of the crawl space. Sandra from North Branch, MN, enlisted our help when she noticed that her front walkway surrounding her home was beginning to sink, creating fairly large gaps. Because of the size of the gaps already forming, Jesse recommended that Sandra take action quickly to ensure no further damage was done. He recommended our PolyLevel injection; an expanding polyurethane foam that is injected beneath the concrete to fill the gaps caused by soil erosion and raise and stabilize the concrete surfaces. Sandra agreed and our Foreman, Ben, and his crew were on the scene in the coming weeks. 

Ben and his crew began by strategically drilling holes into the problem concrete slabs. Next, they injected the foam into the holes and monitored the raising process to ensure the slabs returned to their former place. To finish the job, the crew sealed all the cracks and holes with our NexusPro, a long-lasting silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks.
