A homeowner in Preston, MN, knew their basement was suffering. Instead of letting it worsen, the homeowner began searching for the best waterproofing company. After settling the details, the homeowner awaited the arrival of Ryan, one of our Design Specialists. Ryan arrived at the home and the homeowner showed him to the basement. After Ryan finished inspecting the basement, he determined that it required additional waterproofing. Ryan recommended updating all their waterproofing products in their home. Wanting a lasting solution, the homeowner agreed with Ryan's suggestions. Once the plans were approved, our Foreman, Jesus, and his crew were assigned to complete the project. Jesus and his crew started by installing the WaterGuard near the footing of the basement walls. Once the WaterGuard was installed, the crew took installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump to tie into the new drain system. Then, the crew attached CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. To wrap up the project, the crew installed the IceGuard on the outside discharge line. Once all the projects were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was pleased to know their basement is properly waterproofed. American Waterworks is happy to assist our customers feel safe in their homes.

A homeowner in Preston, MN became worried when he was in his basement and found puddles of water on the floor. The water had already caused some damage to the space and he didn't wany any more to happen if he left the problem alone. He called our appointment center and scheduled a time for his FREE estimate appointment with one of our Design Specialists, Ryan Kennedy. When Ryan arrived at the home, he inspected the basement area and found the concerns that the homeowner had mentioned. Ryan informed the homeowner that waterproofing was needed in order to stop the problems from happening again and the homeowner agreed. The plans were given to one of our Foremen, Jeromy Anderson, and his crew and they visited the site ready to carry out the installations. They began by installing our WaterGuard system which is designed to intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and safely send it away. They also covered the walls with CleanSpace to act as a barrier for incoming water to move down to the drain system. The homeowner was so happy with the results and grateful for our services.

Leaky Basement Revamped in Preston, MN
A homeowner in Preston, MN was in his basement space when he noticed some dampness on the walls and floors. He was unsure of what this meant but figured it couldn't be good for health of his basement. He decided to look online for a solution and found the American Waterworks website. Impressed with the many five-star reviews that were featured on our website, he decided to schedule a FREE estimate appointment. When Design Specialist Ryan Kennedy arrived at the home, he carried out a detailed inspection of the basement. Ryan assured the homeowner that something could be done to help the space out and prevent future damage from occurring. The homeowner was happy to hear this and agreed to Ryan's plans. We sent over Foreman Jeromy Anderson and his crew to the site to begin the installations. They started by jackhammering channels along the perimeter of the basement and placed drainage stone in them. On top of that, they laid the WaterGuard system in the channels and more clean stone. The WaterGuard drains are designed to fix basement water problems effectively without the issues of clogging from soil and sediment. Next, they installed a TripleSafe pump system to more efficiently pump water up and out of the home. They also covered the walls with CleanSpace wall vapor barrier to encapsulate the walls and move leaking water to the drains. To finish, the crew poured concrete on top of the WaterGuard and around the TripleSafe pump to smooth out the floor again and give the space a cleaner look. The homeowner was impressed with our team's work and happy he had found our services.

Preston, MN, Updated Basement Waterproofing

A homeowner in Preston, MN, knew they needed to have their basement evaluated after seeing their basement leaking water. Knowing it wasn't going to be a do-it-yourself project, the homeowner wanted to have a professional waterproofing company perform an inspection. After doing a quick online search, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. We sent Ryan, one of our Design Specialists, to investigate the homeowner's concerns. Once Ryan arrived, he introduced himself to the homeowner and began evaluating the status of the basement. After completing the estimate, Ryan confirmed that the basement's waterproofing products needed an update. Ryan recommended installing a new drain system and sump pump. The homeowner knew this was their best option, so they agreed with Ryan's recommendations. The plans were sent to our Foreman, Jesus, and his crew. Once Jesus and the crew arrived, they began prepping the basement for the WaterGuard installation. The WaterGuard is a below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage stone on top of the foundation footing. The crew installs the WaterGuard by digging channels around the perimeter of the basement floor. Once the channels are dug, the crew can go ahead and place the drainage stone in the channels. The WaterGuard is then placed on top of the stone and covered with cement. After the WaterGuard was installed, the crew took out the old sump pump and replaced it with the TripleSafe sump pump. To connect the TripleSafe to the WaterGuard, the crew installed a feedline across the foundation floor. Next, the crew mechanically attached CleanSpace to the basement walls. CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof plastic vapor barrier that is ideal for foundation walls. The crew installed the IceGuard, an anti-freeze fitting, on the outside discharge line. As soon as the IceGuard was installed, the crew put the basement back together. Sunken Concrete Slabs on Driveway in Preston, MN
