Dawn V. of Brownton, MN had cracked and sunken concrete on her back patio, and she wanted to upgrade the value of her home. She got in contact with our office staff and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Jesse Williams. After a thorough inspection, Dawn got all of her questions answered and was comfortable with the process, so she went ahead with the installation portion.
Our Foreman, Ben Koehler, and his crew member started the installation by injecting 58 pounds of our PolyLevel underneath the concrete. Our PolyLevel is a special kind of foam that fills the voids underneath the concrete slab and stabilizes the surface. Next, our team applied 28 feet of our NexusPro over the cracks. Our NexusPro is made to keep water moisture from invading the cracks, it provides long-term flexibility, and it gives the concrete a neat appearance. Dawn was happy with the transformation and had a good experience with our team!

Our Foreman and his crew began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter forming a trench. Our team installed our WaterGuard System in the trench, which prevents water clogs, collects water seepage from basement walls, and acts as an underground drain. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier around the entire wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace is made to prevent humidity and mold build-up, give the basement a neat and clean appearance, and cover any big holes or divots. Lastly, our team installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System. Our TripleSafe works together with the WaterGuard to pump water out of the basement efficiently and effectively. It is the best sump pump that we provide for homeowners and solves all three water problems in one system. To complete the project, our Foreman and his crew covered the open floor gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it. The homeowner was happy with the outcome and was grateful we were able to help her at her time of need!
A homeowner from Sauk Centre, MN, was growing more worried about his basement as the days passed. He had noticed that the floor above his basement was beginning to sag. Several weeks later, Darin S, one of our Design Specialists, was headed out to the home.
When Darin arrived, he was directed to the basement to begin his inspection. When he concluded, he met with the homeowner to discuss his recommendations. Darin explained that the sagging floor could be due to inadequate or shifting supports beneath the floor joists or lumber deterioration due to mold and rot, but that he had a solution. Darin recommended our SmartJack support system, a system that provides solid support for sagging and undersized beams, restoring stability and straightness to sagging floor joists. Once installed, SmartJack support posts can correct problems such as sloping and overly springy floors, interior wall cracks, and out-of-level door frames. The system can also be adjusted over time to provide additional straightening and leveling action if necessary. The homeowner liked Darin's approach to the problem and signed up for the project on the spot.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Matt Z, and his team effortlessly installed 6 SmartJacks in the basement of the home. Now, our customer can put his foundation worries in the past!
