Justin went on to recommend our NexusPro; a specially formulated silicon-based joint sealant that gets applied to joints and cracks along the newly lifted concrete. Unlike other sealant, NexusPro is UV resistant, meaning it wont bubble. It will also stand up against harsh weather conditions, protecting your lift and the soil below. The homeowner stopped at our booth and asked Ryan about his issue. Ryan wanted to see the issue first-hand so the two scheduled a FREE inspection and estimate for a few weeks out. On the day of the appointment, Ryan completed his comprehensive inspection and then met with the homeowner to go over next steps. Ryan started off by verifying that failing support beams in the crawl space were to blame for the uneven floors above. Ryan went on to say that the beams were weakened due to high humidity in the space causing the wood to warp and rot. He explained further that the crawl space was taking on unwanted water that was making the space unhealthy. To address the water entering the basement Ryan wanted to use our CleanSpace and Drainage Matting combo. He ellaborated, saying that the Drainge Matting would be laid down on the floor of the crawl space. It's raised dimples gave water entering the space a channel to flow freely to a perimeter drain or sump pump. He went on to say that the CleanSpace would be applied on top of the drainage matting, along the walls, and beams of the basement. This 100% waterproof plastic vapor barrier works to keep unwanted water out of the space, creating a healthier and more comfortable environment. To address the failing support beams, Ryan recommended our SmartJack support system, an adjustable supplemental support system used for sagging crawl spaces. A homeowner in Brooten, MN, was prepping their home for the incoming winter seasons when they noticed a stairstep crack ascending their south basement wall. Our Foreman, Edgar Miranda, and his team broke out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed 44 feet of our WaterGuard Drainage System. Our WaterGuard is made to collect water seepage from basement walls, act as an underground drain, and prevent water clogs. Edgar and his crew covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. Our crew laid the carpet back down once the concrete dried.
