A homeowner in Elysian, MN, had grown concerned when they noticed the concrete around their home had begun sinking. Knowing the possible safety risk, the homeowner began searching for concrete lifters in the area and found us. After browsing our website and becoming impressed by our before-and-after photos, the homeowner contacted us to schedule their FREE estimate.
In less than a week, one of our Design Specialists arrived at the home for the inspection. During the inspection, our Design Specialist noticed signs of soil washout and explained to the homeowner that it is the process by which water moves through the ground and washes away the soil. Over time, this causes gaps in the soil, and the slab would begin to sink. To effectively fix this issue, our Design Specialist recommended lifting the concrete slabs with PolyLevel, our elite foam expanding solution. After looking over the proposal, the homeowner happily agreed and decided to move forward with the project.
In about a month, our Foreman, Sam K., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. The crew began by drilling small holes into the slabs. Then, PolyLevel is injected beneath, lifting the slabs back to their original positions.

A homeowner in Cakota, MN, noticed their sump pump was beginning to slow down. Knowing this could lead to larger issues, the homeowner wanted to have the problem resolved. Overwhelmed by all of the sump pump options, the homeowner sought a professional's opinion. During their search, the homeowner came across our website and found that offer a variety of sump pumps. The homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate, and we sent one of our Design Specialists, Ryan, to the home. Once Ryan arrived at the home, he began by inspecting the entire basement. Following his evaluation, Ryan confirmed the homeowner's suspicions, the sump pump was on its last leg. Ryan suggested a new sump pump be installed and a new feed line be dug in the basement. The homeowner agreed and the production preparations began. Our Foreman, Francisco and his crew were assigned to complete the project. First, the crew began by taking out the old sump pump. Once the old sump pump was removed, the crew could dig a feedline from the center of the basement to where the new sump pump will be placed. Next, the crew installed the SuperSump + and attached the IceGuard on the outside discharge lines. The crew completed the projects without any issues. The homeowners were grateful for the excellent job completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to assist another customer with their sump pump issues.
A homeowner from Cakato, MN, had noticed a large crack forming in her front concrete walkway. She was worried about what could happen if she left the issue unresolved, so she began to look for companies offering concrete repair in MN. On the recommendation of one of our employees, she signed up for her FREE estimate, and several weeks later, Eric H, headed out to the home.
Eric evaluated the concrete, and when he finished, he informed the homeowner that we could solve the sinking issue with our PolyLevel injection. PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when its injected beneath sinking concrete slabs. It slowly fills voids left by soil erosion, lifting sunken concrete back to it's place in the process. Eric went on to say that he wanted to safeguard the concrete with the help of our NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant gets applied directly to the cracks and joints in the newly lifted concrete and serves as a barrier, as it's specially formulated to stand up against harsh weather conditions, thus protecting the vulnerable soil below. The homeowner agreed to the proposed work, and the job was scheduled for several weeks later.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Dylon V, and his team were able to complete the lift and seal with no issues. Now, our customer can rest easy knowing her uneven concrete worries are in the past!

Jerome B. of Cold Spring, MN had cracks in his foundation, and water was leaking into his basement, causing him to worry about potential water damage in his basement. He got in contact with American Waterworks and finding us on HomeAdvisor. He called our office line and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Shane. Shane went to Jerome's home, inspected his basement, and determined the solution of our WaterGuard Below Floor Drain, CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier, TripleSafe Sump Pump System, and our Aprilaire Dehumidifier. Jerome was confident in all of our products and their warranties, so he got a date scheduled for the installation.
Our Foreman, Lane, and his production team started the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our crew installed our WaterGuard Below Floor Drain, which prevents water clogs and serves as an underground drain. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier, which prevents mold and humidity, and gives the basement a neat, clean appearance. Then, our crew installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System and our Aprilaire Dehumidifier. Our TripleSafe is the most efficient sump pump system that we have because of its triple layers of protection, and its ability to solve all three water problems in one unit. Our Aprilaire Dehumidifier creates healthy air and reduces the number of viruses in the air. To complete the installation, Lane and his team filled the open gaps in the floor with river rock and pea gravel and applied a new layer of concrete, ensuring the basement water neater and cleaner than when they found it. Jerome had a good experience with our team and was grateful we were able to help him!
