Water was leaking into a basement in Fosston, MN causing problems such as water moisture, humidity problems, and other kinds of water damage. The owners called American Waterworks and talked to our office line about our basement waterproofing repair products. We scheduled a FREE Estimate with them for one of our Design Specialists to inspect the problems and come up with a solution. Our Design Specialist proposed our WaterGuard Drainage System. The owners were confident in the product, its warranty, and got all of their questions answered, so they went ahead with the project.
Our Foreman and his team began the process by cutting out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a waterway trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard, which is made to prevent water and mud clogs, act as an underground drain in collaboration with the sump pump, and collect water seepage from basement walls. To complete the project, our team covered the open floor gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it. The owners were happy with the repairs and were impressed that the project only took one day!
Not only do we perform work in basement waterproofing, we also provide services in foundation repair, concrete lifting/repair, crawl space repair/encapsulation, and radon testing/mitigation. Call our office today or click HERE to request your free estimate!

A homeowner from Maple Lake, MN gave us a call when they began to notice a gap forming between their front stair and the concrete landing below it. He was afraid that if he left the issue unresolved, it could result in a nasty trip or become more costly to fix down the road. When he called in, we set him up with our FREE estimate. Next, our Design Specialist, Jarrett, headed out to the property to do a thorough inspection of the issue. When he completed his walk through he was able to make a recommendation on how to correct the issue. Jarrett recommended our PolyLevel injection. He explained that this modern solution is comprised of injecting a polyurethane foam into the problem slab, which then hardens, lifting the concrete back to its original state. The customer agreed and work began shortly after.
Our Foreman, Tyler, and his Co-Foreman, Jordan, began the process by strategically drilling holes into the slab. After injection, they made sure to carefully monitor the lifting process to ensure the slab returned to the correct height. Once the job was complete our customer was happy to know he didn't need to worry about trip hazards anymore!
A homeowner in Maple Lake, MN, found that their foundation walls had several cracks throughout the cement blocks. Knowing this could be a sign of a serious issue, the homeowner wanted a professional to come to their home to perform an inspection. The homeowner heard of a home show going on in their area and decided to check it out. When they were there, the homeowner saw our booth and decided to chat with our Design Specialist, Shane. After talking with Shane, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate details were finalized, the homeowner prepared for Shane's arrival. Shane began his inspection of the foundation and discovered that the wall was showing signs of progressing wall failure. Shane recommended the walls be permanently stabilized and the homeowner agreed. The plans were then directed to the assigned crew and production preparations began. Our Foreman, Jose, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the wall stabilization. First, the crew made sure the walls were prepared for the PowerBrace installation. Then, the crew installed four PowerBraces along the southeast wall and three on the southwest wall. In addition to the PowerBraces, the homeowner asked that the tightening kit be included, so they can gradually straighten the walls over time. Once the PowerBraces were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowners were put at ease knowing their walls were saved from failure. American Waterworks is happy to provide another customer peace of mind.
