A homeowner from Hugo, MN, was growing tired of constantly tripping over his front stairs. His front concrete walkway had been slowly sinking for years, slowly pulling away from the steps, creating the trip hazard. Not wanting the issue to worsen or even impact a future sale of the home, he decided to begin the research process. During his search, he found the American Waterworks website and decided to sign up for his FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Kyle P, headed out to the home.
Once Kyle finished his inspection of the concrete, he met with the homeowner and informed him that American Waterworks could help fix his issue using our PolyLevel method. PolyLevel is a dense, polyurethane foam that expands when injected beneath sinking concrete slabs, filling voids left by soil erosion and slowly lifting the slab back into place. He went on to say that we finish our lifting process by installing our NexusPro. A silicone-based sealant, NexusPro gets applied directly to the cracks and joints in the concrete slab, preventing any debris or moisture from getting below the slab. The homeowner liked the sound of the plan, and work was scheduled for a few weeks later.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Jordan S, and his team were able to complete the lift and seal with no issues. Now our homeowner can enjoy his space without worrying about trip hazards!

A homeowner in Centerville, MN noticed multiple concrete slabs on her property had begun sinking and was concerned about their stability. She decided to look into concrete lifting in the area and found our website. After browsing our website, the homeowner was impressed with our 5-star reviews and scheduled her FREE estimate.
In a couple of weeks, our Design Specialist, Dave S., arrived at the home to provide a thorough inspection of the homeowner's concerns and answer any questions. He informed the homeowner that one of the common causes of settling slabs is soil washout. When it rains or floods, water moves through the ground and washes away the supporting soils holding the concrete slabs upright. For this reason, Dave recommended our PolyLevel, a waterproof polyurethane foam expanding formula that is engineered to accurately lift sinking concrete slabs, and NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant that is highly flexible and durable for joints and cracks. After reviewing Dave's proposal, the homeowner happily agreed and decided to move forward with the project.
In about a month, our Foreman, Patrick B., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. They began by drilling small holes into the slabs and inserting the injection ports. PolyLevel is then injected beneath the slab, expanding and filling in the gaps in the soil causing the slab to lift. Once it is at the desired level, the crew seals the holes with cement. Lastly, they used NexusPro to seal the joints and repair the cracks that had formed. After they were done, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

Stephen W. in Forest Lake, MN had water seeping into his basement and he did not have a sufficient sump pump to discharge the water from the home. He saw one of our waterproofing advertisements and decided it would be a good idea to get a FREE estimate to waterproof his basement.
Our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson, went to his home to inspect the situation and to develop a solution. Chad determined that the best way to ensure that Stephen would never have to worry about a wet basement would be to install WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement and then install a SuperSump sump pump to properly expel the water to the outside. Stephen agreed that this was the right plan for his basement, so we sent a crew to install our system.
The installation took a couple of days, but Steven will reap the benefits of this system for a lifetime. Since the installation, he has had a dry, clean basement. Our waterproofing system is backed by a lifetime warranty, so Stephen can rest easy knowing he invested in permanently protecting his home from water seeping into his home and causing damage.
