Bob W. of Luana, IA had water leaking through the floor of his basement, causing him to worry about damage to property and his downstairs bathroom. He got in contact with our office staff and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist. Our Design Specialist went to his home, carefully inspected his water leaks, and drew up a solution that worked for him and his home repair needs. Bob was confident in our proposal and felt confident in our products and warranties, so he went ahead with the project.
Our Foreman and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which prevents water clogs, serves as an underground drain, and collects water leakage from basement walls. Next, our team broke out half of the wall around the entire basement wall perimeter and installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier, which prevents the build-up of mold and mildew, covers any holes or divots, and serves as a protective blanket, while also saving money on energy bills. To complete the project, our team filled the open floor gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over them. Bob had a great experience with our team and was happy with the work that was performed!
Along with basement waterproofing, we also perform services in foundation repair, sump pump systems, crawl space repair/encapsulation, radon testing/mitigation, egress windows, and radon testing/mitigation. Call us today or click HERE to request a free estimate!
A homeowner in Rushford, MN, called us with concerns that their concrete apron to the garage and side walk adjacent to the garage needed to be leveled due to water seepage.
A homeowner from Rushford, MN, was growing frustrated with the concrete patio in front of his home. He used it for extra storage for outdoor materials, but getting those items in and out of the area was difficult because of a few areas of uneven concrete. One night, while watching the local news, the homeowner saw an American Waterworks ad for concrete lifting. He decided to give us a call and set up his FREE estimate. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Romeo, headed out of the property.
Once his inspection was complete, he met with the homeowners to give him his recommendations. He stated that we could fix the areas of sinking concrete by using our PolyLevel method. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected below concrete slabs. As this PolyLevel expands, it fills voids caused by soil erosion and slowly lifts the concrete slabs back to their original position. He then said that we finish our lifting and leveling process by installing our NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant that gets applied to the joints and cracks in the concrete to prevent moisture from getting below the slab, causing further soil washout. The homeowner agreed and the work was scheduled for a few weeks later.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Jordan S, headed out to the property to complete the lift. Jordan ran into weather concerns, so the NexusPro had to be installed a few weeks later. Once the job had been completed, our homeowner was thrilled to know that he could use his outdoor space without hassle!

A homeowner in Elmwood, WI was tired of dealing with the large bump that had formed between the garage floor and the driveway apron. Every day when he drove in and out his car ran over the bump, and it had only gotten worse over time. He was curious about what it would take to replace or repair the concrete, so he went online to see what his options were. The American Waterworks website stood out to him because of our powerful PolyLevel foam that is able to lift up concrete back to its original height. He decided to sign up for one of our FREE no-obligation estimates to learn more from an expert. We sent over our Design Specialist, Mac Cole, to the home to inspect the concrete and talk with the homeowner about his expectations. Mac explained that PolyLevel was indeed a great solution for the homeowner's situation and that this method of concrete repairing was a lot less invasive and expensive than other methods. The homeowner was glad to hear this and scheduled a time for the installation. Our Foreman, Patrick Burnes, and his crew went to the site to install the PolyLevel and also our NexusPro joint sealant for a smooth finish. Sam in Arkansaw, WI had three cracked and bowing walls in his basement. He was concerned about the pressure this was putting on his foundation, and he wanted to have his walls repaired before the problem got any worse. After visiting a local home show and talking with one of our Design Specialists, he decided to have us inspect his foundation and provide him with a FREE estimate. Our Specialist recommended that we install wall anchors on two of the walls and PowerBraces on the other. Sam agreed that this was the best solution for him, so he scheduled the installation.
Our production crew installed the wall anchors by drilling small holes through the block foundation into the soil surrounding the home. Then, they dug small holes in the yard that lined up with the anchor rods, and they secured them from the outside and inside of the home with anchor plates. They tightened them as far as they would go to permanently stabilize the wall. Next, they installed the PowerBraces, which are strong steel I-beams that are secured by brackets that are drilled into the floor and the rim joists. These two foundation repair products not only permanently stabilized Sam’s foundation, but they also provide the potential for his walls to straighten back to their original position.
