Failing Wall Rescued in Holmen, WI

A homeowner from Holmen, WI, was awaiting an American Waterworks Service Technician out to his home to perform an annual maintenance on a system we had placed a few years back. The homeowner had new concerns for his home and decided to talk to our Service Technician, Kyle H, about them. When Kyle arrived, the homeowner explained that his basement wall was showing signs of cracking, and he was concerned that it could mean something worse for his home. Kyle dedicated extra time to the homeowner's concerns, and when he finished his inspection and annual maintenance, he met back up with the homeowner to discuss the wall. Kyle explained that foundation walls are designed to withstand loads from above, not from the side. So when the pressure being exerted on the wall exceeds what the wall can withstand, it's not uncommon for homeowners to observe cracking, bowing, sliding in at the bottom of the wall, and/or tilting inward at the top. Kyle followed up, saying that while the situation seemed daunting, he had the fix. Kyle urged the homeowner to consider installing our GeoLock wall anchors, a system of heavy-duty galvanized earth anchors that counteract the pressure being exerted on the wall by anchoring it to the undisturbed soil beyond the home's foundation, permanently stabilizing basement walls, offering the best opportunity to straighten the walls without the cost and disruption of foundation replacement. The homeowner liked Kyle's recommendation and decided to schedule the project.

Several months later, our Foreman, Kiko P, and his team were headed out to the home. Our team effortlessly installed 10 of our GeoLock anchors throughout the basement of the home. Now, our customer can rest easy knowing his failing foundation won't be shifting any time soon!

Bowing Wall Repair in Holmen, WI

A homeowner in Holmen, WI, was putting away storage when they noticed their foundation walls were beginning to bow inward. Worried this was a sign of a larger issue, the homeowner knew they needed to find a permanent solution. The homeowner looked into "bowing foundation repair near me," and several companies popped up. Only one company stood above the rest, American Waterworks, so the homeowner inspected our products and services. After seeing our eye-catching before and afters, the homeowner knew their project was in the best hands. The homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE, no-obligation estimate. Once the appointment was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Dustin. A week later, Dustin arrived at the home, introduced himself to the homeowner, and began the thorough inspection of the foundation. During the inspection, Dustin confirmed the foundation was bowing inward. To prevent the bowing from continuing, Dustin recommended permanently stabilizing the bowing wall. Knowing this would provide them with a permanent solution, the homeowner knew this was their best plan of action. Once Dustin received the green light from the homeowner, he sent the plans to our Logsitics team to build and schedule the project. Our Logsitics team gave their final stamp of approval, then the plans were assigned to our Foreman, Arturo. A few months later, Arturo and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Arturo and his crew started by making sure the wall was ready for installation. Next, the crew went ahead and installed nine GeoLock Wall Anchors along the north foundation wall. Once all the GeoLock Wall Anchors were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know their foundation was properly stabilized. American Waterworks is happy to provide its homeowners with peace of mind.
