Radon Mitigation System Installed in Cornell, WI

A homeowner in Cornell, WI, recently learned the dangers of radon gas. Concerned about the levels in their home, the homeowner began searching for a company that could provide them with a solution. The homeowner looked into a "radon mitigation system installer" and one of the first companies to catch their attention was us, American Waterworks. After taking a closer look into our previous projects, the homeowner decided to go ahead and sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Chuck. As soon as Chuck arrived at the home, he started the radon test. While the radon test was being completed, he mapped out the best area to place the radon mitigation system. Once the test was completed, it showed the levels were significantly high. Chuck recommended installing a radon mitigation system in the home. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner decided to go ahead with this plan of action. Next, Chuck passed the plans along to our Logistics team to build and schedule the project. Our Logistics team built and scheduled the project, then it was sent to our assigned Foreman, Dakota. A few weeks later, Dakota traveled to the home to install the radon mitigation system. First, Dakota inspected the areas where the system would be placed. Next, Dakota went ahead and installed the radon mitigation system. After the Radon Mitigation System was secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know their home no longer had a high radon risk. American Waterworks is delighted to provide their homeowners' peace of mind.

Sunken Steps Get a Lift in Ontario, WI

A homeowner in Ontario, WI, had noticed that there was a large gap forming between her driveway and some adjoining concrete stairs. She suspected that if she let the problem get worse, she could have a dangerous tripping hazard on her hands. She decided to begin the search for a company that could help with the issue. She had noticed lots of American Waterworks vehicles in her town, and yard signs around her neighborhood, so she decided to call us and take advantage of our  FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Will R, headed out to the home.

After Will completed his inspection, he informed the homeowner that she was right to call us, and that addressing concrete issues sooner rather than later is always going to be more beneficial. He let her know that American Waterworks could lift the sunken concrete using our PolyLevel. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that expands when injected below concrete slabs, filling voids left by soil erosion and slowly lifting the concrete back into place. Will went on to say that we finish all of lifting projects by applying our NexusPro. A silicone-based sealant, NexusPro gets applied to cracks and joints in the concrete and works to prevent any moisture from getting below the slab and saturating the soil below. The homeowner agreed and work began weeks later.

On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Sam K, was able to lift and seal the concrete to the homeowner's liking. Now, our customer can have peace of mind in her concrete!

Sinking Concrete Steps Lifted in Ontario, WI

A homeowner in Ontario, WI, disliked the look of their sunken concrete steps. Worried this could become a major tripping hazard, the homeowner began looking into "sunken concrete repair near me". One of the first companies to catch their attention was us, American Waterworks. After looking closely at our concrete lifting and leveling services, the homeowner knew we were the perfect company for their project. Since they were already on our website, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Will. A few days later, Will arrived at the home and thoroughly inspected the concrete. During his inspection, Will confirmed the steps and sidewalk were sinking into the ground. To prevent the sinking from continuing, the homeowner recommended installing PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution. Since it avoided concrete replacement, the homeowner knew this was their best plan of action. After receiving the homeowner's approval, Will sent the proposal to our Logisitcs team to build and schedule the project. Our Logisitcs team scheduled the project for the following weeks. Once the project date arrived, our Foreman, Sam and his crew traveled to the home to begin the project. First, Sam and his crew started by inserting PolyLevel underneath the sinking steps. The steps were lifted back to its original position. Then, the crew used NexusPro, a silicone-based solution, to repair the sidewalk joints throughout the damaged concrete. Once the sidewalk joints were repaired, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was delighted with the transformation made by the crew.
