A Chatfield, MN, homeowner was working in his garage one day when he noticed that the walls of the structure seemed to be bowing inward. Instantly worried, the homeowner decided to take to the internet to find the solution. Several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Ryan K, headed out to the home. When he arrived, he was directed to the garage, where he began his estimate. Once he completed, he explained to the homeowner that he was seeing bowing because the pressure on the other side of the wall was too much for it to withstand. Ryan went on to explain that, due to obstacles on the other side of the wall, he was recommending the use of our PowerBrace wall repair system. This patented foundation wall repair system is designed to stabilize failing basement walls and provide the potential to straighten walls over time. A homeowner in North Branch, MN, noticed a musty smell around their home. Unsure of the source, the homeowner wanted to have a professional company come out to the home to investigate. Unsure of what company to move forward with,  the homeowner began doing research. After comparing various other companies, the homeowner came across American Waterworks. Following his comprehensive inspection, Nick found that the musty smell was coming from the homeowner's crawl space. Nick provided the homeowner with a solution that had several versions to give the homeowner options. After considering all the options, the homeowner picked the one best fit for their circumstances. Once the plans were approved, a crew was assigned and production began. Our Foreman, Matt, and his crew arrived at the home and began by installing one Helical Pier on the north wall. Next, the crew removed all the debris from the dirt floor. Once the debris was cleared the crew placed the drainage matting on the crawl space floor. Then, CleanSpace was installed across the floor and up the crawl space walls. Additionally, Foamax was installed around the perimeter of the crawl space. Finally, Sprayfoam was injected around the fuller perimeter of the crawl space joist pockets. The homeowners were impressed by the work completed by the crew.
