Jill P. of Hixton, WI lives in an 1889 farmhouse that is built on sandstone. Over the years, it was settling and the inside of her home was uneven, causing sagging floors. She got in contact with our office staff after seeing that we professionalize in foundation repair. Our Design Specialist, Rick Weber, inspected her sagging floor and proposed our SmartJacks. Jill got all of her questions answered about our product and felt confident in the system, so she went ahead with the project.
Our Foreman, Hugo, and his production team installed three of our 5-7' SmartJacks, which are designed to restore the stability and straightness of sagging floor joists and corrects problems such as sloping, interior wall cracks, and uneven door frames. Over time, they can be tightened by the homeowner to ensure the system is sticking to its design. Jill was happy with the work and was grateful we were able to help restore her peace of mind!

A homeowner in Hixton, MN, was distressed after discovering water sitting on their basement floor. Wanting someone to visit their home immediately, the homeowner frantically looked for a solution. After hearing about our quick response time, the homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. After arranging the appointment with our Appointment Specialist, the homeowner prepared for Mac, one of our Design Specialists, to arrive. Once Mac arrived, he began his investigation to find the source of the issue. When Mac completed the inspection, he determined that the entire basement needed to be waterproofed, and the foundation needed to be stabilized. Mac told the homeowner about these findings and provided them with a recommended plan. The homeowner agreed with these recommendations and production began. Once a crew was assigned, they traveled to the home to start production. After they arrived, they began by installing the WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. Once the WaterGuard was installed, the crew shifted their focus to digging a feedline to connect to the newly installed TripleSafe sump pump. Finally, the crew moved their focus to installing CarbonArmor strips along the north wall. After all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. Heather C. in Sparta, WI had water leaking into her basement through her foundation wall causing damage to her home. She contacted American Waterworks, and one of our waterproofing experts, Rick Weber, designed a thorough solution. Heather was impressed with the solution, so she chose to move forward with the installation.
Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his production team started the installation by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor to create a trench for the WaterGuard. After installing the SuperSump sump pump and laying 182 feet of the WaterGuard, they replaced the concrete and installed the Foamax wall panels. Foamax is an advanced polyisocyanurate foam insulation panel designed to prevent condensation and make the basement a more comfortable space. Water is now properly expelled from the home and the walls have been permanently stabilized. Her basement is now a stable, dry and clean space.
