Challenge

A homeowner in Fredericksburg, IA, noticed it was time to schedule their annual maintenance appointment. After contacting our Service team, the homeowner awaited the arrival of our Service Technician, Sam. Sam promptly arrived at the home and began the thorough inspection of the installed products. Before the inspection began, the homeowner asked to have our Aprilaire, a dehumidifier, installed in their home. Sam began by checking the TripleSafe Sump Pump, one of our most elite sump pump systems, in the basement.

Solution

After Sam concluded the TripleSafe inspection, he shifted to checking the IceGuard on the outside of the home. An IceGuard is an anti-freeze fitting installed on the outside of your home that ejects water away from the foundations in the event the sump pump line freezes or becomes clogged. After ensuring the IceGuard was properly working, Sam installed the Aprilaire near the TripleSafe Sump Pump. The Aprilaire creates healthy air and can reduce the number of viable viruses in the air to less than 1% in two days when set to 50% RH. Finally, Sam cleaned up his matierals and left the home.
