Diane B. in Sparta, WI contacted American Waterworks after seeing one of our commercials on TV. She noticed her garage floor was uneven, and she feared the problem was only going to get worse. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Brian Ramirez, to meet with Diane and evaluate the situation. After his inspection, Brian recommended our Foundation Push Pier System to provide a permanent solution to her settlement issue.
Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his production crew started the installation by excavating the soil surrounding the home where the foundation had started settling until they reached the bottom of the footings. Then, they secured brackets under the footings and inserted the piers until they hit competent, supportive soil. The piers transfer the weight of the home to the supportive soil, preventing further settlement. The crew wrapped up the project with installing our frost protection system to protect against frost damage. Then, they replaced the soil and cleaned up their work area. Diane was happy she chose to invest in the stability of her home, and we are glad we could restore her peace of mind!

She saw advertising on one of our vehicles in her area and decided to give us a call. She met with one of our Design Specialists, Rick Weber, who inspected the home and proposed a permanent solution.
Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his production crew began the waterproofing project by first removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and installing our WaterGuard drainage system. Then, they installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump, which is backed by three levels of protection. Any water is now guided through the WaterGuard to the sump pump, and from there, is expelled from the home. Lastly, our SaniDry dehumidifier was put in place to take care of any humidity. Kay was happy with the project and glad her basement is now a dry, clean space.

Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his production crew began the project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and through the middle of the floor, then laying our WaterGuard drainage system. Next, they hung our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls to further protect the space from moisture and mold. Then, they filled back the gaps in the floor with rock before replacing the concrete and cleaning up their work area. Roger L. owned a home in Strum, WI that he was using as an income property. He decided that he wanted to sell the house, so he didn’t have to deal with renting it out anymore. He knew that before he could put it on the market, he would have to make some repairs to the home, including repairing the foundation. One of our Design Specialists, Rick Weber, went onsite to inspect his walls and develop the right solution for his specific needs. Rick concluded that the best repair option would be to install wall anchors, and Roger agreed. A couple of weeks later, our production crew arrived at the home to start the installation. They drilled small holes through the damaged block foundation and inserted long metal rods through the wall and into the soil surrounding the home. They secured both ends of the metal rods with anchor plates and tightened them as far as they could go. Once the anchors were tightened, the walls began to straighten and stabilize. The anchors should continue to be tightened over to time to continuously improve the strength of the foundation.

Lori B. in Rochester, MN contacted American Waterworks after realizing that the foundation of her home was failing. She wanted to receive a FREE estimate, so we sent one of our Design Specialists, Dustin Loftus, to inspect her home and provide her with a solution. The building had two foundation walls that were cracked and bowing. They were remodeling the building at the time and wanted an estimate and the work done as soon as possible.
