Schedule Annual Maintenance
Being a homeowner myself, I know how valuable it is to feel comfortable and secure in your home. I have a decade of customer service experience and a construction background. After seeing American Waterworks’ true commitment to putting the customer first, I decided to join the team. I have been thoroughly trained and have earned the highly-esteemed title of “Certified Concrete Repair Specialist” through Foundation Supportworks International Contractor Network.
American Waterworks is a certified member of the Basement Systems network of dealers. Basement Systems is the world’s largest affiliation of basement waterproofing contractors. American Waterworks is also a proud member of National Radon Defense and Foundation Supportworks. All our representatives are fully certified to preform inspections and repairs. We have over thirty products to solve the problems that yesterday’s systems presented. We at American Waterworks help our customers with problems ranging from groundwater seepage to basement dehumidification, from bowed or cracked basement walls, to foundation and concrete slab settlement, as well as radon testing and mitigation.
I enjoy meeting with homeowners and helping them solve their radon and concrete problems, enabling them to get more out of their homes. I also enjoy spending time with my wife and kids.
Bill and Linda W. in Nelson, WI contacted American Waterworks after seeing one of our advertisements in the newspaper. Their driveway and walkway along their house had settled, creating a trip hazard. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Michel Ramirez, to meet with Bill and Linda, evaluate the situation, and propose a unique solution. After his inspection, Michel was able to recommend our PolyLevel and NexusPro products. Bill was glad to learn that our PolyLevel concrete repair solution is a durable, faster and more affordable option than traditional concrete repair. They approved of the plan and moved forward with the project.
Our Foreman, Brandon Wiskow, lifted several of the walkway and driveway sections through use of PolyLevel - a two-part, high-density polyurethane foam. Pencil-sized holes were drilled through the concrete, and foam was injected to lift the sinking slabs back to their original height. Then, he caulked and sealed the cracks with our NexusPro sealant to protect the concrete and give it a nice, finished look. Trip hazards were effectively removed, and the process avoided the unnecessary action of replacing the concrete. Bill and Linda were impressed with the installation, and thrilled that they can enjoy a level walkway for years to come!
Lori K. in Albert Lea, MN had an older home, and she was concerned about the stability of the foundation and the water leaking into her basement. She found American Waterworks in the phone book and gave us a call. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Ryan Powell, to meet with Lori, evaluate the situation, and propose the best solution. Lori was impressed with Ryan’s presentation, and she moved forward with the project.
Our Foreman, Jesus Covarrubias, and his production team were successfully able to stabilize Lori’s foundation with the installation of 10 Geo-Lock Wall Anchors around the deteriorating foundation. They began the waterproofing project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and installing 100 feet of our WaterGuard drainage system. Next, they installed the SuperSump sump pump with a battery backup and the CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls to further protect the space from mold and moisture. Lastly, they installed the SaniDry dehumidifier to take care of any humidity and cleaned up their work area. Lori was pleased with the entire process and is glad she made the investment to protect her home!
