Sinking Front Walkway Gets Lifted in Rockland, WI

A Rockland, WI, homeowner had been observing her front concrete walkway sinking slowly over the years. She was worried that the sunken concrete would hinder the home from being sold at full value one day, so she decided to search for WI concrete repair companies. When she found our website, she decided to sign up for one of our FREE estimates, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Romeo V, headed out to the home.

Once Romeo completed his inspection of the sunken concrete, he informed the homeowner that American Waterworks could address the sinking concrete with the help of our PolyLevel method. Romeo explained that PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath sinking concrete. It fills voids left by soil erosion and works to lift the sunken concrete back into place. Romeo went on to say that he was also recommending the installation of our NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant works to prevent moisture from getting below the slab and essentially guards the vulnerable soil below. The homeowner liked the sound of Romeo's plan and scheduled the job for several weeks later.

On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Pat B, and his team completed the lift and seal with no issues. Now, our homeowner can resell her home in the future knowing that her concrete is in tip-top shape!

Severely Sunken Concrete Lifted in Hixton, WI

A homeowner in Hixton, WI, was tired of dealing with the sunken walkway in front of their garage. The concrete had sunk over 3 inches, and it created a large trip hazard. Worried this could lead to a serious issue, the homeowner began looking into "concrete walkway repair near me". One of the first companies to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks, and our PolyLevel solution. They were pleased to learn that PolyLevel could raise their concrete and that it is a more efficient and affordable alternative to traditional concrete repair. Since they were already on our website, the homeowner decided to go ahead and sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists to take a closer look. The Design Specialist promptly arrived and started the thorough inspection. During the inspection, the Design Specialist confirmed the walkway needed to be lifted back to its original place. After hearing the Design Specialist's suggestions, the homeowner agreed and worked with the Design Specialist to find the best installation date.

One of our PolyLevel Foremen drilled small holes into the concrete slabs where the PolyLevel foam would be injected. He then injected the foam until the cement was once again level with the garage. Lastly, he filled the cracks of the concrete with our Nexus Pro sealant, and the job was complete. The process only took a couple of hours, and now the homeowner does not have to worry about sinking concrete for years to come!
