A homeowner from Prior Lake, MN, got in touch with us when she was ready to address her sinking front steps. Her steps had been sinking for some time now and it was starting to form a trip hazard. She decided to give us a call and set up her FREE estimate appointment. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Aidan H, headed out to the home to see what could be done.
Once Aidan finished his walkthrough, he met with the homeowner to give her his recommendations. Aidan said that we could fix the sinking concrete using our PolyLevel solution. He explained that our PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath sinking slabs, filling voids left by soil erosion and slowly lifting the concrete back into place. He went on to say that we finish this type of installation with our NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant that gets applied to the joints and cracks in the concrete slab, preventing unwanted elements from getting below the concrete. The homeowner agreed and the work was scheduled for a few weeks later.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Domanik, and his team were able to easily lift the concrete back into place. Now our customer can enjoy her front walk without worries of tripping!

A homeowner from Prior Lake, MN, was dealing with water intrusion in her basement. Not wanting the issue to get out of hand, she decided to begin the search for a company that could help fix the issue. On the recommendation from a friend, she decided to call American Waterworks and set up her FREE estimate. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Nick S, headed out to the home to assess the basement.
Upon the completion of the assessment, Nick met with the homeowner to give his recommendations. Nick explained to the homeowner that he wanted to combat the water in the basement with our WaterGuard. He elaborated, saying that our WaterGuard is an award-winning, patented below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage stone on top of the foundation footing. Nick went on to say by installing the drain at this point, it's kept out of the "mud zone","the point where clogged drains are common. The unique shape and large drain openings of WaterGuard® also aid in preventing clogs in the system. The homeowner agreed with Nick's proposal and a the job was scheduled for a month later.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Raul B, ended up installing 156 ft of our WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. Now our customer can enjoy their basement without worries of water intrusion!

Lori A. of Prior Lake, MN wanted her concrete raised for the front walkway to her house. She worked with our Design Specialist, Jarrett, who provided her with a thorough walkthrough of her concrete and a quote that would fit her needs and budget. Lori was confident in Jarrett's proposal and our products, so she went ahead with the work.
Our Foreman, Troy, injected our PolyLevel underneath the walkway to stabilize and even out the surface of the concrete. Next, our team applied our NexusPro over the cracks to prevent moisture from seeping underneath the surface and giving the concrete a polished finish. Lori was happy with the completed transformation!

Homeowner experienced a sunken concrete slab in their driveway. After a few hiccups, Troy was able to lift the slab back to it's original position and the homeowner was thrilled.
A homeowner in Center City, MN, noticed their pool deck was uneven and becoming a tripping hazard. Hoping to eliminate the issue, the homeowners search for concrete repair options near them. Since Minneapolis was the closest, the homeowner looked into "Minneapolis concrete repair". The first company to catch their eye was us, American Waterworks. After taking a closer look at the products we offer, like NexusPro and PolyLevel, the homeowner knew we were the best choice for them. Since they were already on the website, the homeowner signed up for their FREE estimate. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Mike, to start the appointment. Once Mike introduced himself, he looked at the uneven concrete around the pool deck. Mike determined that the concrete slabs must be lifted with PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution. Mike presented his recommendations to the homeowner and the plans were approved. Once the homeowners approved the plans, they were sent to the office to be finalized. Our Foreman, Sam, and his crew received the approved plans and they traveled to the home. They arrived at the home and began by lifting the affected slabs with PolyLevel. The crew lifted the slabs outside the pool deck and one slab in front of the garage. After the slabs were lifted, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was put at ease knowing the tripping hazard was eliminated. American Waterworks is happy to provide their homeowners peace of mind.
