Next, the crew installs injection ports in the small holes. Then, the polyurethane foam is injected beneath the concrete to fill the voids and raise the slab. Finally, the crew sealed the holes and control joints. After the walkways were lifted, the crew shifted their focus to replacing the joints on the patio. To replace these joints, the crew used the NexusPro Joint Sealant, a silicone-based sealant. First, the crew drilled, smoothed, and prepared the cracks with a non-absorbent backer rod filler. Then, the NexusPro sealant is inserted into the prepared crack or control joint. Finally, the cracks are detailed with a thin layer of native sand, giving the concrete a uniform, finished appearance.
