A property from Eau Claire, MN, had a rental property she needed an upgrade on. One of the lower-level rooms was to be used as a bedroom, but it was not up to code. Wanting to upgrade, the property owner began to search for how to replace basement egress wells online. When she found our website, she signed up for a FREE estimate, and several weeks later, Chuck H, one of our Design Specialists headed out to the home.
Chuck got right to work surveying the home and old window well. When he finished, he was ready to deliver his recommendations. Chuck recommended the installation of our RockWell window well. RockWell offers an attractive alternative to ugly window wells, while providing a safe, code-compliant basement egress. Click the arrows below to learn more about the features and benefits of our egress window wells. RockWell window wells are a one-piece, rigid construction that will not collapse from backfill or allow water to leak through the well walls. They’re UV stable, rust and rot proof, and stand up to extreme temperatures. Our egress window wells meet the IRC Egress Code Requirements, providing you and your family with a direct escape from any of the inhabited rooms in your basement. RockWell’s egress window wells feature durable, built-in steps that make it easy for your family to escape from your basement in the event of an emergency. We also offer safety ladders for our Premier series window wells. A polycarbonate safety cover keeps leaves and debris out while allowing natural sunlight and fresh outside air to enter your basement. While they are not intended for continual foot traffic, the 10mm fluted polycarbonate cover will hold up to 500 lbs. of weight and prevent family members from accidentally falling into the window well. The homeowner liked the look and safety of our window well, and schedule the installation for several weeks later.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Gabriel, and his team were able to install the window well in no time. Now, our customer can rent out her property with confidence that the home is up to code!

A homeowner from Eau Claire, WI, was walking across her main level one day when she noticed that a portion of the floor was much colder than the rest. It occurred to her that this cold space was directly above the crawl space of the home. She began to scour the internet for local crawl space repair companies and crawl space technicians in the area and quickly found our website. She was impressed with our previous crawl space liner installation photos and decided to schedule her FREE estimate. Several weeks later, one of our Design Specialist, Chuck H, was headed out to the home.
When Chuck arrived, he wasted no time getting down into the crawl space to see what could be causing the problem. When he was finished with his inspection, he met with the homeowners to discuss his findings and the next steps in the process. Chuck first wanted to address the energy inefficiency of the space, stating that crawl space insulation is of the utmost importance, as many comfort and energy problems are caused by inadequate or incorrect crawl space insulation. Chuck's first recommendation, TerraBlock, was developed to meet the challenge of insulating rough, uneven crawl space floors, and can be combined with other products to maximize the space's efficiency. Second, Chuck wanted to use our Foamax wall panels. Foamax is a polyisocyanurate foam insulation panel with a white foil finish on the front and a foil vapor barrier on the back. Insulating your basement walls with Foamax provides comfort and energy bill savings while making your walls look clean and bright. Foamax is an advanced foam insulation panel that reduces condensation for exceptional moisture protection. Then, Chuck informed the homeowner that he found significant evidence of water intrusion in the crawl space. He explained that this could lead to mold, mildew, wood rot, and a plethora of other airborne allergens. For this reason, Chuck went on and recommended our CleanSpace vapor barrier, a 100% waterproof tarp-like material that gets installed directly to the walls of the crawl space and works to collect water entering through cracks and holes in the foundation downward and keeping it off the floor. To complement this product, Chuck wanted to use our drainage matting, a dimpled mat that goes down on the crawl space floor before the CleanSpace, providing entering the water a channel to flow to the appropriate disposal site. The homeowner was thrilled with Chuck's comprehensive approach to the problem and signed on the spot.
The project day rolled around several weeks later. Our Foreman, Jesus R, was able to lead his team through a flawlessly executed installation of 1372sqft of CleanSpace, 1170 sqft of drainage matting, 1170 sqft of TerraBlock, and another 600 sqft of Foamax. Now, our customer can walk across a nice warm floor with the confidence that her crawl space is properly sealed and saving her money!

Both pumps would be installed in the homeowner's current sump pump system, replacing the current broken pumps. After looking over Ross's proposal, the homeowner happily agreed and scheduled the installation date.

He felt it was important to have a foundation repair expert take a look at it, so he gave American Waterworks a call. One of our Design Specialists, Chad Johnson, went to Jim’s home to provide him with a free onsite estimate. Chad recommended that we install wall anchors to permanently stabilize his wall. Our production team started the installation process by drilling holes into the brick wall and inserting long metal rods that go into the soil outside of the home. A homeowner from Plymouth, MN, was down in her basement during a storm when she saw a stream of water entering through her basement wall, pooling at the baseboard of the wall. The homeowner was immediately nervous about what this could mean for her home. She immediately began to look for interior basement waterproofing in Eau Claire, MN. When she found our website, she signed up for our FREE estimate, and several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Dustin L, was headed out to the home.
When Dustin arrived, he wasted no time heading down into the basement. When he finished his walkthrough, he met with the homeowner. He explained while the basement was taking on water, the crack seemed to only be in one area of the basement. To fix this issue, Dustin wanted to seal the crack in the wall using our FlexiSpan wall system. This product is a high-viscosity polyurethane polymer. This gets deep in the cracks to form a durable, flexible seal. Then, Dustin recommended sealing the wall with our CleanSpace vapor barrier. This 100% waterproof tarp-like material gets installed directly to unfinished basement walls and works to catch any water entering from the wall down the wall and into a perimeter drain; WaterGuard. Our WaterGuard is a unique French drain that gets installed below the basement floor but atop the footing of the foundation. This placement keeps the drain out of the 'mud zone' where similar drains tend to clog. It gives water entering from the walls and floor a channel to flow to a pre-installed sump pump and keeps it off the basement floor. The homeowner was thrilled with Dustin's solution and signed on the spot.
The day of the installation finally rolled around. Our Foreman, Diego B, led his team through the installation of the CleanSpace and WaterGuard. Now, our customer can put all of her water intrusion worries behind her!
A homeowner from Eau Claire, WI, got in touch with us when he noticed one of the main support beams that make up his basement ceiling was showing signs of bending, a clear indicator of wall failure. The homeowner had no idea who handled foundation repair Eau Claire, WI. On the recommendation of a friend, he decided to sign up for one of our FREE estimates. Several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Dustin L, headed out to the home.
When Dustin arrived, he wasted no time getting down to the basement to see the problem for himself. When he finished his inspection, he met with the homeowner to deliver his findings. He began by saying that floors over basements sage for a variety of reasons, including inadequate or shifting supports beneath floor joists and lumber deterioration due to mold or rot. For this reason, Dustin recommended our SmartJack system. This innovative system provides solid support for sagging and undersized beams, restoring stability and straightness to sagging floor joists in a crawl space. Once the system is installed, these jacks can correct problems like sloping or overly springing floors. The homeowner liked the sound of Dustin's plan and scheduled the job on the spot.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Jesus M, led his team through the flawless installation of 5 SmartJacks throughout the basement. Now, our customer can breathe a bit easier knowing that his foundation concerns have been handled!

During the inspection, Will took a look around the home to decide where our radon mitigation system would need to be installed in case the radon levels were at dangerous levels. After a couple of days, the test results were above 4 pCi/L, and the homeowner contacted Will to move forward with the project.
In about a month, one of our crews arrived at the home for the installation. They began by installing a PVC pipe into the footing of the home. The pipe then connects to the radon mitigation system, which is installed outside of the home. This is done this way so that our system can suction out the radon-rich air and spew it outdoors. Once the crew was done with the installation, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

In about a week, our Design Specialist, Chuck H., arrived at the home for the inspection. During the inspection, Chuck explained to the homeowner that it is common to see water seepage in the perimeter of the home if the footing drain of the home failed. A failed footing drain causes water to saturate the soil surrounding the foundation, allowing water to enter through cracks and joints. To effectively fix this issue, Chuck recommended WaterGuard, our drain system that collects water at the perimeter of the basement and sends it to the sump pump, SuperSump+, our elite sump pump system, and IceGuard, our anti-freeze discharge line that allows water to escape in case the pipes freeze. After looking over Chuck's proposal, the homeowner decided to move forward with the project.
In a couple of months, our Foreman, Jesus M., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. The crew installed a total of 112 ft of WaterGuard, 1 SuperSump+, and 1 IceGuard. After the installation, the crew cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

In about a week, our Design Specialist, Romeo V., arrived at the home to conduct a thorough inspection of the concrete, answer any questions, and provide the best solution to the homeowner. During the inspection, Romeo noticed that the front step had a 4-inch gap from where it should be. He also noticed other areas of the walkway that had become a trip hazard. Luckily, Romeo explained to the homeowner that we have just the right solutions, PolyLevel and NexusPro. PolyLevel is our high-density polyurethane formula that stabilizes and lifts sinking concrete slabs. NexusPro is our silicone-based sealant designed for joints and cracks. It is engineered to provide flexibility and long-lasting durability, being able to stand up to harsh weather conditions. After looking over Romeo's proposal and asking more questions about the product, the homeowner was convinced that it was the right solution for his concrete issues and scheduled the installation date with our Foreman.
In about two months, our Foreman, Sam K., and his crew arrived at the home to carry out the installations. The crew began by drilling small 3/8 inch holes into the concrete slabs. PolyLevel is then injected beneath the slab, filling in the voids and gaps in the soil, lifting the slab. Once the slabs have been lifted to the desired height, the crew seals the holes. Lastly, they used NexusPro to seal the joints. After the crew was done with the installation, they cleaned up their work area and equipment before leaving the home.

A homeowner in Eau Claire, WI, had noticed multiple signs of foundation damage, such as stair-step cracking and bowing from the center. In about a week, our Design Specialist, Dustin L., arrived at the home to conduct the inspection, answer any questions, and provide the best solution for the homeowner. During the inspection, Dustin noticed that there had been multiple cracks that had formed along multiple walls and that he was able to place his finger inside the bowing walls. Dustin also spoke to the homeowner about what their goal was, if they were looking to only fix one area, and their budget. Based on those, Dustin recommended installing our GeoLock wall anchors. Dustin explained to the homeowner that GeoLock is our permanent solution to foundation issues. How it works is, galvanized earth anchors are embedded in undisturbed soil outside of the foundation. Each anchor is then connected by a steel rod to the wall plate. This method stops wall movement completely. After looking over Dustin's recommendation, the homeowner happily agreed and decided to move forward with the project.
In about two months, our Foreman, Luis D., and his crew arrived at the home to install 11 GeoLock anchors. The crew began by excavating multiple holes away from the foundation. An earth anchor is then placed inside and is attached to the interior wall plate. Both anchors are connected by a small steel rod that runs through the ground. Once the wall plates had been tightened, the crew cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
