Norbert was confident in our Design Specialist's proposal and presentation, so he signed the contract, wrote out a deposit check, and went ahead with the project. 

Our Foreman and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Drainage System, which prevents water clogs and serves as an underground drain. Next, our team installed our FoamMax Wall Panels, which provides comfort and saves money on energy bills, while making the walls look bright and clean. Since it is an advanced kind of foam insulation, it reduces condensation for moisture protection. To complete the project, our Foreman and his crew filled the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over them, ensuring the basement looked much neater and brighter than when they found it.

Foundation Repair in Preparation for Sale of Altoona, WI Home

Doug S. in Altoona, WI was getting ready to sell his home, but he was concerned about the two cracked and bowing walls in his basement. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Jeremy Radtke, to his home to inspect his foundation walls and to provide him with a solution. Doug was pleased with the thorough proposal that Jeremy developed, so they scheduled the installation of our foundation repair system.

Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his crew installed 10 wall anchors total (5 on each cracked wall). They drilled holes through the brick walls and inserted long metal rods. Next, they secure the metal rod with plates on each end. Took a full day, but our wall anchors are backed by a lifetime guarantee, so Doug has peace of mind that he chose the right solution to protect the foundation of the home. Wall Anchors Restore Bowing Wall in Eau Claire, WI

Jim Grinder in Eau Claire, WI had a bowing foundation wall that was concerning him. He felt it was important to have a foundation repair expert take a look at it, so he gave American Waterworks a call. One of our Design Specialists, Chad Johnson, went to Jim’s home to provide him with a free onsite estimate. Chad recommended that we install wall anchors to permanently stabilize his wall. Jim was pleased with the proposal that Chad put together, so he decided to move forward with the installation.

Our production team started the installation process by drilling holes into the brick wall and inserting long metal rods that go into the soil outside of the home. Then, the rod is secured with anchors on each end. Once they tightened the anchors, the wall started to straighten. The anchors can continue to be tightened over time, to continue straightening the wall. Jim’s wall in now secure because of the wall anchor installation, and he has confidence that he chose the right company because our foundation repair products are backed by a lifetime warranty.
