Once the WaterGuard is in place, the crew could shift their focus to removing the old sump pump and replacing it with the SuperSump+. The crew tied to the WaterGuard system into the new SuperSump+. Next, the crew installed CleanSpace on the unfinished basement walls. CleanSpace is a washable liner that can conform to bumpy or cracked walls and is installed with permanent drilled-in fasteners. The crew installs CleanSpace by mechanically attaching them to basement walls with plastic drilled-in fasteners. To begin the installation, the crew digs a channel along the footing of the west wall. Once the channel is dug, the crew can put the WaterGuard into place. Once in place, the crew covered the WaterGuard channels with rocks and cement. Next, the crew shifted their focus to installing the SuperSump Plus to tie into the current water system. The SuperSump Plus is engineered to assist in keeping the basement dry and healthy for extended periods and in heavy water intrusion. To prevent freezing or clogged discharge lines, the crew installed the IceGuard, an anti-freezing fitting that is installed on the outside of your home and ejects water away from the foundation. To finish the project, the crew installed CleanSpace along the entire west wall. CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof plastic vapor barrier that is perfect for unfinished basement walls. The crew installs CleanSpace by mechanically attaching them to the walls with plastic rilled-in fasteners, so it won't fall off the wall.
