Once dug a metal rod is drilled into the problem wall until it is exposed by the hole. Then the team proceeds to add a GeoLock anchor plate which allows the wall to return to its original position over time. After the installation, the production crew proceeds to backfill the holes and replace the soil back to its original look. Trisha from Hopkins, MN began to notice excessive water build-up in her basement, along with constant moisture. She was worried that it would worsen and cause damage to the appliances and personal items she had in her basement. Trisha then contacted then the Appointment Center here at American Waterworks to claim her FREE estimate, entitling her to a free home inspection by one of our Design Specialists. Once the appointment is set and scheduled, our Design Specialist attended her property and began a full thorough inspection. Once completed with the inspection our Design Specialist recommended Trisha our TripleSafe Sump Pump, Waterguard, and CleanSpace Vapor Barrier. Trisha agreed with the proposal and started the project soon after.
Our Foreman and their assigned crew then attended their property and began the project by installing a CleanSpace and the WaterGuard system. The CleanSPace Vapor Barrier is a tarp-like material that helps catch any water entering the basement, directing it to the water guard. Our Water Guard drainage system lies below the basement floor, next to the footing of the house to catch the water that is collected by the CleanSpace, directing it to the sump basket. To finish the project the crew then installs the TripleSafe Sump Pump to drain all the excess water that is entering the basement. The TripleSafe Sump pump is the best sump pump we offer that provides protection against all three water problems that a home may experience.

Tracey from Hopkins, MN noticed that the concrete slabs forming the pathway to her home have been experiencing settlement and have been forming some potential trip hazards. Tracey was worried that if left unchecked the problem may worsen. Tracey then called the Appointment Center here at American Waterworks and claimed her FREE estimate. The free estimate entitles Tracey to a full home inspection. Once the Appointment was set and scheduled, our Design Specialist then attended her property and began to conduct a thorough inspection of the property. After a thorough inspection, our Design Specialist proposed to Tracey that the best solution was to invest in our PolyLevel and NexusPro solutions. Our PolyLevel injection is a polyurethane foam that is injected through the problem slabs filling the voids that were left behind due to soil erosion and stabilizing the concrete. Tracey agreed with the proposal and proceeded to schedule a day of installation.
Our Foreman and his crew then began the installation process by strategically drilling holes through the problem slab to inject the PoleyLevel foam. After this process is done, the crew continued the process by using NexusPro Solution, a silicone-based sealant that seals the joints and cracks to protect the PolyLevel foam from any water and water vapor. The NexusPro solution is a tough solution that has a protectant against UV light which prevents it from drying and deteriorating, keeping the concrete slabs connected.
Tracey was satisfied with the job and enjoys his nice and leveled driveway!

Katie was having moisture problems in her basement. She was beginning to notice a musty odor, accompanied by a damp feeling, and mildew forming along baseboards. She was concerned that she was beginning to see signs of a basement waterproofing issue. Katie researched the best remedies for her problem and came across the services we offer.
When she called into our office, we set her up with our FREE estimate, entitling her to a free, no-obligation 3-hour estimate from one of our Design Specialists from our basement waterproofing and foundation division. After her appointment was scheduled, our Design Specialist, Nick, headed out to her property to complete his inspection. Once he had concluded his walkthrough, he informed Katie that her issue was stemming from water entering the property, probably through porous holes and cracks in the foundation. He went on to say that while Katie wasn't experiencing dramatic amounts of water in the space, she shouldn't brush her problem off. He explained that a wet basement can lead to mold and mildew, creating unhealthy air circulating through the home. He recommended our AprilAire Dehumidifier to create healthy air and reduce the number of viable viruses in the air. She quickly agreed to this option and work began shortly after.
Our Foreman, Raul, and his crew installed her dehumidifier quickly and efficiently. Now, Katie can enjoy her space without the intruding musty smells and damp feelings!
