A homeowner in Minneapolis, MN, noticed that water had been leaking along the walls of his basement. Concerned it would lead to water damage, he decided to look into basement waterproofing in Minneapolis, MN. Solution

In less than a week, one of our Design Specialists arrived at the home to conduct a thorough inspection, answer any questions, and provide the best solution for the homeowner. During the inspection, our Design Specialist noticed some leaking between the joint of the wall and the footing. He explained to the homeowner that the reason he is facing a damp basement issue is likely due to a failed footing drain. When this fails, water saturates the soil surrounding the foundation, and water forces itself through cracks on the wall and between the wall and floor. For this reason, our Design Specialist recommended WaterGuard, our below-the-floor drain system that is installed at the perimeter of the basement to collect water leaks and send it to the sump pump, CleanSpace, our vapor wall barrier that prevents water vapor from permeating the walls, preventing mold growth, SuperSump+, our elite sump pump system capable of removing 2,200 gallons of water per hour, and IceGuard, our anti-freeze discharge line that allows water to escape in case the sump pump discharge lines freeze. After looking over the proposal, the homeowner agreed to the recommendations and decided to move forward with the project.
