Water was leaking into a female homeowner's basement, causing her to worry about the value of her home. Our Design Specialist, Kole, went to her home for a FREE estimate and presented our WaterGuard Below Floor Drain, which is an interior drainage system that prevents mud clogs and collects water leakage from basement walls. The homeowner was confident in the product and its features, so she went ahead with the project.
Our Foreman, Zach, and his crew installed our WaterGuard by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer. To complete the project, our crew filled in the broken-out gaps with river rock to allow water to flow through the WaterGuard and applied a new layer of concrete over it. The homeowner was happy with the work and her peace of mind was restored.
Andy, from Adams, ND was worried about the moisture and humidity in his home and wanted a more functional, dry basement space. He wasn't sure of the best approach to take to make this happen, so he called our team to claim his FREE estimate. Design Specialist Ian then headed out to her property to complete our inspection. Once he finished the walkthrough, Ian showed Andy why she needed a better way to filter the moisture and keep it outside her walls. Andy was confident in the proposal and got all of his questions answered, so he signed the contract and set up a date for the installation.
Our Crew, lead by our Foreman Tanner, installed our WaterGuard System. Our WaterGuard collects water leakage from basement walls, serves as an underground drain, and prevents water and mud clogs by staying out of the mud zone. Our crew then installed our CleanSpace Wall System, which prevents mold and humidity, acts as an extra wall protectant, and covers uneven surfaces. Lastly, Tanner and his team updated Any's sump pump by installing our adding new hardware into the existing super sump and connecting it to the feedline. Specifically, the team used our UltraSump Battery Backup System. In case of a tripped circuit, power outage, or dump failure, this backup system is a heavy-duty battery backup that can pump more than 11,500 gallons of water on full charge. Once installed, to round out the installation, our team filled the old sump pump space with rock, applied new concrete, and ensured the space was left clean, dry, and ready for Andy! Andy was very pleased with the work and was happy to know he no longer had to worry about basement waterproofing problems.
Donald from Barnesville, MN got in contact with us when he began to notice a crack forming along his basement wall. He was afraid that if he left the issue unresolved, he would run the risk of the wall failing even more. When he called our office, we set him up with our FREE estimate, entitling him to a thorough inspection by one of our Design Specialists. A few weeks later, Kole was out at the property to see what could be done. Once he finished his walkthrough, he made his recommendations. Kole wanted to use our GeoLock anchors to fix the issue. He explained that this solution works to stabilize walls by anchoring them to the hard-packed virgin soil beyond the foundation.
The customer agreed to the solution and work began a few weeks after. Our Foreman, Zach, and his crew ended up installing 8 of our anchors throughout the basement. When work was done, our customer was happy to know that he didn't have to worry about his basement foundation any longer!
A homeowner from Barnesville, MN, was dealing with a deteriorating driveway. His driveway had been sinking over the years and had begun cracking as a result. The homeowner no longer wanted to deal with the eyesore and decided to look into what options might be out there. One day, he found himself at the Red River Valley Home + Garden Show in Fargo, ND. While perusing the booths, he ended up at the American Waterworks booth and spoke to our Design Specialist, Kole, about his concrete issue. He and Kole set up a time for Kole to come out to his home to see the concrete.
Once the day arrived, Kole got right to work completing his inspection. When he finished, he explained to the homeowner that concrete can sink for a variety of reasons but that we could help fix the issue with the help of our PolyLevel method. He explained that PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath sinking concrete slabs. It works to fill voids left over by soil erosion and slowly lifts sunken concrete back to it's desired location. Kole went on to say that our team recommends the application of NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant gets applied to the cracks and joints of the newly lifted concrete and works to protect the vulnerable soil below by preventing water from getting between the slabs. The homeowner liked the sound of Kole's plan and scheduled the job for the Spring.
When the snow melted and warm weather returned, our Foreman, CJ, and his team were able to complete the lift and level with no issues. Now our homeowner can look at his driveway fondly, knowing the cracks have been sealed.
