Jeri H. in Lakota, IA was concerned about her bowing basement walls. She contacted American Waterworks after she was referred by a friend, and we sent one of our Design Specialists, Dylan Woitas, to meet with her. Dylan evaluated the situation and proposed a solution for her home. Jeri approved of the design and moved forward with an installation date.
Our Foreman, Jesus Covarrubias, and his production crew were able to successfully stabilize the bowing foundation wall with 6 PowerBraces. The PowerBraces halted further deterioration of the wall, and over time, can be tightened to make the wall straighter and more vertical. Jeri was pleased with the installation and her peace of mind has been restored!

The foundation of this home was bowing and showing significant signs of inward movement. American Waterworks installed Geo-Lock Wall Anchors along the bowing walls, and used the system's clamping pressure to stabilize and restore the wall.
Jeff V. in Willmar, MN had a long sidewalk and large patio that had dirty, uneven concrete. He saw advertising for the concrete repair solutions that American Waterworks offers, so he gave us a call to receive a FREE estimate. One of our Design Specialists, Reed Hudson, went to his home to inspect his concrete and build the right repair plan for Jeff’s concrete needs. Reed explained to Jeff that our PolyLevel concrete repair solution is more efficient and cost-effective than traditional concrete repair. He also talked him through the benefits of finishing his concrete repair project with our concrete sealant called SealantPro. Jeff was impressed with Reed’s presentation and his thorough plan to make his concrete beautiful again, so he decided to move forward with the project.
Our concrete repair experts started the process by drilling small holes into the concrete slabs where they needed to be raised. Then, they injected the polymer foam until the slabs were raised back to their original position. Once the concrete had been raised, they sealed the cracks with our NexusPro sealant to protect the concrete and give it a nice, finished look. The following day, we power washed the concrete and then applied SealantPro. SealantPro is a state-of-the-art material that bonds with concrete on a molecular level, permanently protecting it from water, dirt and other contaminants in a single coat. Jeff was thrilled with the result and was very impressed with our crew! He is happy he chose to repair his concrete through American Waterworks.

Jolyn N. in Willmar, MN was concerned about a large crack in her foundation and water seeping into her basement. After being referred to our company, we sent our Design Specialist, Jeremy Radtke, to her home to complete a FREE estimate. Jolyn was happy with the solution Jeremy provided, and she decided to move forward with the project.
Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his crew started installing our waterproofing system by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and laying our WaterGuard drainage system. Next, they installed our SuperSump sump pump and our CleanSpace vapor barrier system along the walls. The combination of these waterproofing products ensure that water will be properly discharged from her basement and that it will remain a dry and functional space.
Then, our crew installed 16 Geo-Lock wall anchors along the damaged foundation by drilling small holes through the block into the soil surrounding the home. They dug small holes in the yard that lined up with the anchor rods, and they secured them from the outside and inside of the home with anchor plates. They tightened them as far as they would go to stabilize the walls and to halt any further movement. The installation took two days to complete, and Jolyn’s peace of mind has been restored knowing that her foundation is permanently secure!

Randy N., a resident of Willmar, MN, got his radon levels tested and the result came out to be 6.8 pCi/L. Our Design Specialist, Kevin, set him up with an installation date and walked him through a plan of our Radon Mitigation System. These systems are made to pull radon from within the home and release it outside through pipes.
Our crew of Dakota and Geno began the installation by drilling a hole into the basement concrete floor, creating a suction point. From there, our crew installed a PVC pipe from the whole, which created a vent for the radon gas. They connected the pipe to the radon fan outside of the home (which is the Mitigation System itself). The fan is the heart of the system. If it fails, the radon will remain in the home. From the fan, our team connected more PVC piping along the siding of the home until it reached open air above the roof. To complete the installation, Geno and Dakota performed a final walkthrough with Randy and ensured all of his questions were answered.
