Concrete Repair in Maple Grove, MN

A homeowner in Maple Grove, MN, had noticed multiple signs of concrete damage, such as cracked and settling stairs, as well as a cracked and uneven driveway. He was concerned it would worsen and decided to look into concrete services in the area. He came upon our website and was impressed with our 5-star reviews and decided to schedule his FREE estimate.

In a couple of weeks, our Design Specialist, Kyle P., arrived at the home and inspected the sidewalk, driveway, and front porch. He explained to the homeowner that one of the common causes of concrete damage is soil wash out. When it rains or floods, water moves through the ground under the concrete slab. It then washes away the supporting soil and eventually creates voids and gaps underneath the slab. Over time, the concrete begins to sink or cave in. It was for this reason that Kyle recommended using PolyLevel to lift the concrete, NexusPro to seal the joints and cracks, and SealantPro to protect the concrete. The homeowner happily agreed to Kyle's recommendation and decided to move forward with his plans.

In about two weeks, our Foreman, Jordan S., and his crew arrived at the home to install the SealantPro. Our SealantPro is sprayed over the concrete and initially comes on green to ensure it is applied evenly. However, once it is dried, it will be clear and is designed to protect the concrete from oil, water, and gasoline, preventing soil washout. Once this has been applied, Jordan and his crew cleaned up their equipment and left the home. In about a week, our Foreman, Sam K., and his crew arrived at the home to install the PolyLevel and NexusPro. The concrete is lifted by first drilling small holes into the slabs. Then, the injection ports are installed, and PolyLevel is injected, filling the space between the slab and soil. Once the concrete slabs have been lifted, the small holes are sealed with concrete. Lastly, NexusPro is used on the cracks and joints of the concrete. Once Sam and his crew were done with the installation, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

Now, our customer can have peace of mind knowing his concrete issues have been fixed. Are you experiencing something similar? Click HERE to schedule your FREE estimate!

Concrete Walkway Lifted in Maple Grove, MN

A homeowner in Maple Grove, MN, tripped on their uneven walkway one evening. Concerned that someone else could be seriously injured, the homeowner knew they needed to find an expert to provide them with a solution. The homeowner looked into "fixing concrete walkway near me" and one of the first companies to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE esitmate. After the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Canon. The following week, Canon properly arrived and began his thorough inspection of the exterior concrete. During the inspection, Canon determined that several areas were suffering from settlement. To prevent this issue from worsening, Canon recommended installing PolyLevel underneath the struggling sidewalk. Knowing this was the best plan of action, the homewoner agreed and worked with Canon to schedule the best installation date. When the installation date arrived, our Foreman, Jordan, and his crew traveled to the home to begin. First, Jordan and his crew lifted the walkway with PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution. Next, the crew filled the joints and cracks with NexusPro, a silicone-based solution. Once all the products were secured, the crew left the home. American Waterworks is happy to provide their homeowners peace of mind knowing their sidewalk is secured.

Failing Wall Gets Stabilized in Bowman, Nd

Myron and Karla of Bowman, ND got in contact with us when they began to notice one of their basement walls was beginning to bow inward, showing signs of wall failure. The couple wanted to resell the house at some point and were interested in correcting the issue sooner rather than later. They called our office and we set them up with our FREE estimates. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Ian, headed out to the property to see what we could do to help. After his inspection, he recommended the use of our GeoLock wall anchors to correct the issue. He explained that these anchors work to stabilize failing walls but anchoring them to the hard-packed virgin soil beyond the foundation of the home, pulling them back into place. The couple agreed and work began shortly after.

Our Foreman, Zach, and his team ended up installing 19 of our GeoLock anchors throughout the basement. Now Myron and Karla can begin to plan for the future without worries that their home will slow them down.
