A customer from Dickinson, ND, was in the market to upgrade their existing window well to be code-compliant basement egress. Unsure of where to start, the homeowner began to do some research about companies in the area performing that kind of work and came across our company. When they decided to give us a call, we set them up with our FREE estimate, and a few weeks later our Design Specialist, Richie, headed out to the property. Once he completed his walkthrough, he was ready to make his recommendation. Richie wanted to use our RockWell egress window. He explained that our RockWell window well offers an attractive alternative to other window wells while providing a safe, and code-compliant means of egress. Our customer agreed and work began a few weeks later.
Our Foreman, Juan, and his team installed the new window well quickly and efficiently. Now our customer can use their basement without fear that their space isn't up to the safety code.
A homeowner in Manning, ND, was checking on their basement following a heavy rainstorm. To their surprise, the homeowner discovered the basement was suffering from water intrusion. Worried about the long-term effects, the homeowner knew they needed to find a permanent solution. The homeowner researched "waterproofing basements near Manning, ND" and one of the first companies to catch their eye was us, American Waterworks. The homeowner reviewed our reviews and was impressed with our services, so they decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Ian, to the home to take a closer look at the basement. During his investigation, Ian found that the basement was suffering from water intrusion and needed to be repaired. Ian was able to provide the homeowner with a solution that would prevent further water intrusion. After reviewing Ian's proposal, the homeowner knew it was the best option for their home. Once it was given the final stamp of approval by our Logistics team, the proposal was passed along to our Foreman, Roel, and his crew to begin. Roel and his crew traveled to the home and started the waterproofing project. First, Roel and his crew began by installing WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew shifted their focus to taking out the old sump pump and replacing it with the SuperSump+. Once the SuperSump+ was installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was in awe of the transformation by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to provide their homeowners peace of mind knowing their basement is properly waterproofed.
Troy G. in Selfridge, ND had cracked and bowing foundation walls in his basement. He was worried about the structural stability of his home, so he got in contact with our office staff at American Waterworks. Our staff set him up with a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Richie Noreen. Richie went to his home, carefully inspected his foundation walls, and provided him with a solution. Troy was confident in Richie's proposal of our GeoLock Wall Anchors, so he went ahead with the project.
Our Foreman, Corey Tollefson, and his production team began the installation by digging small holes outside of the home. From the inside of the basement, our team drilled a long, medal rod through the wall to each hole outside of the home. On the ends of each rod, our crew screwed on and tightened a GeoLock Wall Anchor. This wall anchor system stabilizes the foundation wall by anchoring the walls to the hard-packed soil beyond the foundation. To complete the project, Corey and his team backfilled each hole and replaced the soil, leaving the yard looking neater than when they found it. Troy was happy with the work and had a great experience!
Lauren, a homeowner in Richardton, ND, wanted some support in the basement space of her home. She was afraid that if the issues of damp spaces and musty smells were left unresolved, she would run the risk of doing serious damage to her basement. When she called in, we set her up with a FREE estimate. Shortly after the appointment was scheduled, our Design Specialist, Ian, headed out to the property. Once he completed his walkthrough, he recommended how we could help. Lauren was confident in the plan, and an installation date was set.
First, our Foreman Dylan and his team installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump. Next, to direct water away from the home's foundation so that it would not leak back into the basement, the team added a discharge line from the North end of the basement near the sump system and out into the yard.
We also installed the patented IceGuard® system, an anti-freeze fitting that is installed outside of your home and ejects water away from the foundation if the sump pump discharge lines freeze or become clogged. Once the job was done, our customer was happy to know that the basement had been transformed, and she no longer had to worry about water intrusion!
Molly T. of Williston, ND had water leaking into her finished basement after every time it rained. She had American Waterworks come out to her home to install our interior drainage system called WaterGuard. This system is designed to prevent mud clogs, collect water seepage from basement walls, guide water to the sump pump so it can discharge out of the basement, and it has easily accessible service ports for maintenance purposes. Molly was thrilled with the work and was grateful we were able to help her in her time of need.
