A homeowner in Hutchinson, MN, worried their home's radon levels were alarmingly high. Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that is emitted from rocks and soil. Additionally, radon can be found anywhere one arch and emissions can vary based on local geography. Once the plans were approved, the project was scheduled with our Foreman, Dakota, and his crew. A few weeks later, Dakota and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. Once they arrived, Dakota and his crew began by installing the Radon Mitigation System on the wall. Once the Radon Mitigation System was installed, Dakota and his crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed with their excellent work completed by the crew. Fred from Cavalier, ND had been reading up on the side effects of radon gas. Fred had read that levels are higher in the Midwest than in other portions of the region, and was afraid for the lung safety of his household, should there be hazardous radon gas present. A few weeks later, a member of our Design Specialist team, Evan, headed out to the property to complete a radon test, which after 46-72 hours, came back showing high, hazardous levels of radon in the home. Evan explained that while the levels were high, our company could install a radon mitigation system both inside and outside of the home that would work to pull radon from the home and pipe it upwards and out of the home. Fred quickly agreed and work began some weeks after.
