A homeowner in Loretto, MN, felt it was about time to resolve the large gap between their concrete steps and the sidewalk leading to their home. Knowing this could become a safety hazard, the homeowner began looking for a solution. After seeing American Waterworks offers concrete repair, the homeowner decided to check out our past concrete work. Impressed by our work, the homeowner signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the appointment was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists to evaluate the status of the concrete. After fully inspecting the concrete, the Design Specialist determined that the concrete required lifting and leveling. The Design Specialist came up with a recommended plan of action and the homeowners agreed. The plans were then sent to the assigned crew and preparations began. Our crew arrived at the home and began by preparing the concrete for the PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution, installation. The PolyLevel was inserted underneath the entire concrete slab in front of the home. Once the PolyLevel was inserted, the crew shifted their focus to filling in the several cracks and joints. To fill these cracks, the crew used the NexusPro Sealant. After all the cracks and joints were filled, the crew was able to clean up the job site and leave the home. The homeowners were impressed with the excellent job completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to assist another lovely customer.

Once the estimate was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of one of our Design Specialists, Ryan, to perform the inspection. Ryan arrived at the home and began his detailed investigation of the driveway. During his investigation, Ryan determined the driveway was sinking due to soil settlement. To stop the driveway from sinking further, Ryan recommended lifting the sidewalk using PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution. The homeowner agreed with Ryan's recommendations and the plans were directed to our Foreman, Sam, and his crew. After they received the plans, Sam and his crew traveled to the home to begin the project. First, Ryan and his crew started by lifting the driveway using PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution. Once the driveway was lifted back to its original height, the crew could clean up their materials and leave the home. The homeowner was impressed with the progress and work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to repair its customer's sunken driveway.
Chad M. in Hollandale, MN noticed that a wall in his basement had cracked and was bowing inward. He was concerned about the pressure this was putting on his foundation and the potential damage it could cause, so he started looking for a foundation repair contractor. He saw a commercial for American Waterworks and was glad to see that we specialize in foundation repair. He contacted us and set an appointment for a FREE onsite estimate.
We sent a Design Specialist to his home to evaluate the situation and find a solution. While onsite, our Design Specialist noticed that another wall in his basement was also bowing. In order to protect his foundation, our Design Specialist recommended that we install 5 wall anchors and 9 wall braces. Chad knew how costly it can be to replace a foundation, so he decided it was in his best interest to permanently stabilize his walls.
The installation took a few days, however, our foundation repair products are backed by a lifetime warranty, so Chad will never again have to worry about the stability of his foundation. Chad is glad he chose to protect his home for the long-term.

Rebekah M. of Jordan, MN had a basement wall that was bowing and she wanted to get it repaired before it got any worse. She got in contact with American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE, no-obligation estimate. Our Design Specialist, Shane Nephew, went to Rebekah's home, carefully examined her bowing wall, and came up with a solution that would work for her and her home repair needs. After a thorough walkthrough, Rebekah was confident in Shane's proposal of our Wall Anchor System, so she scheduled a date for the installation.
Our Foreman, Raul Avilez, and his production crew began the installation by digging small holes beyond the foundation. Next, from the interior foundation, our crew inserted long, metal rods through the wall to each hole. In this process, each anchor is connected by the steel rod to a wall plate that provides pressure against the inside of the foundation wall. This process also gives it the potential to straighten back to its original position. To complete the installation, Raul and his team tightened each anchor, backfilled the holes, and ensured the soil was compacted.

Groundwater was leaking through Sandie K.'s basement carpet, causing her to worry about the value of her home and property damage. She found an American Waterworks advertisement in her phonebook, so she called our office number and requested a FREE Estimate with one of our design team. One of our Design Specialists went to her home, inspected the problems, and proposed the solution of our TripleSafe Sump Pump System. Sandie was confident in the product and its warranty, so she went ahead with the repairs and scheduled an installation date.
Our Foreman and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor with a jackhammer, forming a round hole. In the hole, our team installed our sump basket, followed by the pumps and battery back-up. Our TripleSafe solves all three water problems in one system, it provides three layers of water protection, and it is the most reliable sump pump that we offer for homeowners. To complete the project, our team filled the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it, ensuring the basement was cleaner than when they found it.
