An Owatonna, MN, homeowner was growing tired of her old sump pump. Each time it rained, the sump pump had to work overtime to compensate for all of the water. At times, the issue was so bad that the homeowner had water all over her basement floor. She no longer wanted to clean up after the older sump pump and decided to begin her search for a sump pump system company in Minnesota. When she found our website, she signed up for her FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, Dustin A, one of our Design Specialists, was scheduled to stop at her home.
After Dustin finished his walkthrough, he informed the homeowner that she was correct to call us and that we could provide her with a new sump pump that would be sure to keep her basement dry. Dustin recommended our SuperSump sump pump, an effective and economical solution to water intrusion. This machine is engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for extended periods, even in times of heavy water intrusion. The SuperSump boasts a powerful Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head out of your basement. The homeowner was thrilled about the idea of having a new sump pump, and eagerly scheduled the job for several weeks later.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Matt Z, and his team installed the sump pump with no issues. Now, our customer can enjoy the rain without fear that it will end up on her basement floor!

An Owatonna, MN, homeowner was facing a unique issue with her home. Each time it rained, the homeowner's sump pump wouldn't turn on, regardless of the amount of water entering the space. This problem resulted in an even bigger problem: a flooded basement. The homeowner knew she couldn't head into a Minnesota winter with an outdated sump system, so he began searching for a basement specialist near him. When he found our website, he signed up for his FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Brady S, headed out to the home.
Brady conducted a thorough inspection of the basement, and when he finished, he was ready to meet with the homeowner. Brady recommended several of our products but stressed the importance of updating the sump system. Brady recommended the installation of our TripleSafe Sump Pump. Brady explained that The TripleSafe is the most reliable sump pump in our lineup. It boasts three levels of protection for your basement and your peace of mind. For normal functioning, The TripleSafe offers a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller 1/3 horsepower sump pump set at the lowest level. For heavy volumes of water, or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller 1/2 horsepower pump, set a bit higher, in the liner will take over. The homeowner quickly agreed with Brady and scheduled the installation for several weeks later.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Raul B, and his team effortlessly installed one of our TripleSafe sump pumps. Now, our customer can enjoy the rain without worries that it will wind up in her basement!

A homeowner in Owatonna, MN, disliked the look of their separating steps. Hoping to avoid total concrete replacement, the homeowner began looking into "concrete repair near me". After comparing several companies, only one of the first companies to caught their attention was American Waterworks. Impressed with our eye-catching before and afters, the homeowner knew we were the ideal company for their project. Since they were already on our website, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Nate. A week later, Nate arrived at the home and began the thorough inspection of the damaged concrete. After taking a closer look, Nate confirmed the sidewalk was separating due to settlement. To prevent the settlement from continuing, Nate recommended inserting PolyLevel underneath the struggling sidewalk. Knowing this was the best plan of action, the homeowner decided to go ahead with the recommended plan of action. Next, Nate passed the plans to our Logistics team to build and schedule the project. Once the project was given the final stamp of approval, it was assigned to our Foreman, Patrick, and his crew. Once the project date arrived, Patrick and his crew began by installing PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution. Once the PolyLevel was secured, the crew shifted to filling the gaps and replacing the joints with NexusPro, a silicone-based solution. After the products were installed, Patrick and his crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed with the excellent work completed by the crew. American Waterworks was happy to assist its customers in repairing their damaged concrete.
A homeowner from Owatonna, MN, had heard of her friends and neighbors having their homes tested for radon gas. The homeowner knew very little about radon gas, but had heard it was not something to mess around with. She googled 'radon specialists near me' and quickly found American Waterworks. Impressed with our reviews and other jobs completed in the area, she decided to claim her FREE estimate, and several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Brad W, headed out to the home.
When Brad arrived, he began his inspection, and when he finished, he met with the homeowner to go over his findings. Brad stated that he wanted to leave a charcoal radon test in the home, explaining that the test works to gauge radon levels in the home over 48 hours. When the 48 hours are up, the customer would have to mail the test to a lab to be tested. Brad went on to say that if the levels came back above 4 pCi/L, he would strongly urge the homeowner to consider a radon mitigation system. A typical radon mitigation system consists of a large-diameter plastic pipe that connects the air beneath your foundation to the outdoors. An in-line fan sucks radon-rich air from beneath your foundation and expels this hazardous air to the exterior. The homeowner agreed with Brad's recommendations and the two decided to touch base after the radon test returned. A few weeks later, the radon results returned much higher than 4 pCi/L, so the homeowner called Brad and the two began the process of scheduling the project.
A month later, our Radon Foreman, Dakota, and his team headed out to the home to install the system. Now, our customer can breathe confidently in her home!
