A homeowner in Morristown, MN, had noticed their sidewalk had begun sinking, causing the area to become bumpy with possible trip hazards. Knowing the issue would only continue to worsen, the homeowner began searching for concrete repair in the area and found our website. After browsing our website and becoming impressed by our reviews, the homeowner contacted our Appointment Center to schedule their FREE estimate.
In less than a week, one of our Design Specialists arrived at the home to conduct a thorough inspection. During the inspection, our Design Specialist noticed multiple areas that have become a trip hazard. To fix this, our Design Specialist recommended lifting the concrete slabs with PolyLevel. PolyLevel is our elite foam expanding solution that effectively lifts sunken slabs. After reviewing the proposal, the homeowner happily agreed to the recommendations by our team and scheduled the installation date.
In about a month, our Foreman, Patrick B., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. The crew began by drilling small holes into the concrete slabs and inserting the injection ports. PolyLevel is then injected beneath the slabs, causing it to lift. Once it has been lifted to the desired height, the crew seals the holes.

Peter, a homeowner in Saint Stephen, MN, was searching for solutions to his basement issues. With no sump pump in the home, combined with water entering the basement and cracking in his garage floor, he needed help. That's why he decided to call American Waterworks for his FREE estimate. Our crews of waterproofers are experienced, well-trained professionals that work in basements and crawl spaces every day. The experts at American Waterworks have seen it all, and they know just what needs to be done to keep your space dry all the time! Shortly after the appointment was scheduled, our Design Specialist, Shane, headed out to the property.
Following a thorough inspection, Shane gave his recommendations to Peter, suggesting that he invest in our WaterGuard system as well as our SuperSump Pump. Peter agreed, and our crew got to work.
Our Foreman, Lane, and his crew, headed out and started making Peter's home a drier, safer place to live. First, they started with our WaterGuard, a patented below-floor drain that rests in a drainage bed on top of the foundation footing. This particular system is typically used in basements and is the premier choice for basement waterproofing as it is installed below the floor but rests atop the foundation, keeping it out of the "mud zone," making it harder to clog. It is engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for extended periods, even during heavy water intrusion. Next, the team implemented our The SuperSump®, which includes a powerful Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head out of your basement. Peter was pleased with the results and glad his basement is now a dry, healthy space. Are you having water problems in your basement? Click HERE to learn more about our WaterGuard System!

He also was tired of the musty smell that was coming from his crawl space so, he contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate. One of our Design Specialists, Dylan Woitas, went onsite to inspect his crawl space and create a solution. Dylan developed a thorough solution to solve Chris’ crawl space problems. Chris was pleased with the proposal, so he scheduled the installation.
Our production team installed drainage matting, CleanSpace vapor barrier, Foamax walls and our spray foam rim joist insulation. The combination of these crawl space encapsulation products made Chris’ crawl space a dry, clean, and energy efficient space.

Donna S. in New Prague, MN contacted American Waterworks after seeing our advertisement in the newspaper. She was concerned about the water that was leaking through cracks into her basement, and she wanted someone to look at her crawl space. She met with one of our Design Specialists, Ryan Powell, who assured her that we could permanently waterproof her basement with our WaterGuard and TripleSafe waterproofing system.
Our Foreman, Jesus Covarrubias, and his production crew began the project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and installing our WaterGuard drainage system and recommended TripleSafe sump pump. Water is now guided through the WaterGuard to the sump pump, and from there is expelled from the home. Next, they removed debris from the crawl space and laid the drainage matting. Then, they completed the project by encapsulating the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier to protect the space from moisture, mold, and pests. Donna was happy with the results, and glad she can enjoy a dry, clean basement and crawl space!
