A homeowner from Faribault, MN, got in touch with us when she noticed that she was entering her space through the joints where the floor and walls met. She was worried that if she left the issue unchecked, it would drag down the value of her home when she resold it in the future. Deciding to address the problem, she began to look into MN basement waterproofing. After finding us through the recommendation of friends and family, she signed up for her FREE estimate.
Several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Brian R, was headed out to the home. When Brian arrived, he completed his thorough inspection and then met with the homeowner to discuss his recommendations. First, Brian recommended our WaterGuard. This French drain gets installed below the basement floor, atop the footing of the foundation, working to provide the unwanted water entering the space a channel to flow freely to a disposal site. While Brian was in the basement, he noticed that the basement lacked a sump system, so he recommended our TripleSafe sump pump. This sump pump is the most reliable sump in our lineup, boasting three levels of protection for your basement and your peace of mind. The homeowner was thrilled with Brian's recommendation and signed up for the project on the spot.
A month or so late, our Foreman, Jose C, and his team installed 101 ft of WaterGuard and 1 TripleSafe in the basement of the space. Now, our customer can enjoy all of the perks of a dry and healthy space!
A homeowner in Faribault, MN, was concerned about his settling back porch, which was a tripping hazard for family and friends. He searched for "porch sinking repair" and found our website. After browsing our website, he was impressed with our before-and-after photos and decided to schedule his FREE, no-obligation estimate.
Our Design Specialist, Mitch S., arrived at the home on the scheduled date and conducted a thorough inspection of the back porch. He explained to the homeowner that one of the common causes of a sinking porch is soil compacting and settling. When a soil's load-bearing capacity exceeds, it causes the support soil beneath the concrete slab to expand and contract. This eventually leads to concrete sinking and, in most cases, cracks forming in one or more parts of the slab. To fix this issue, Mitch recommended our PolyLevel to lift the concrete and NexusPro to seal the cracks and joints. The homeowner was thankful for Mitch's explanation and decided to move forward with his recommendation. Mitch's design was then sent to our Foreman, Jordan S.
In about a month, Jordan and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. They began lifting the concrete by drilling small holes into the slab and installing the injection ports. PolyLevel is then injected beneath the slab, causing it to lift. Once it has been lifted, the crew ensures it is leveled before sealing the holes with concrete. Lastly, the crew uses NexusPro to seal the cracks and joints. Both PolyLevel and NexusPro are long-lasting with high durability. Once the crew was done with the installations, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

A homeowner in Fairbault, MN, was completing yard work when they noticed their front steps were separating from the walkway. Worried this could turn into a major issue, the homeowner knew they needed to find a professional to provide them with a proper solution. After comparing several companies, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate with American Waterworks. Once the estimate was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Eric, to the home to take a closer look. Once Eric arrived, he began the thorough inspection of the exterior concrete. After he wrapped up the estimate, Eric concluded that the steps needed to be lifted and leveled. Knowing this was the best plan of action, the homeowner decided to go ahead with Eric's proposal. Next, the plans were sent to our Foreman, Sam, and his crew. A few weeks later, Sam and his crew traveled to the home to begin the project. After they arrived, Sam and his crew started by inserting PolyLevel below the sinking sidewalk. Next, the crew shifted to injecting NexusPro, a silicone-based solution, into the joints and cracks of the concrete. After all the products were secured, Sam and his crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was delighted with the excellent work completed by the crew.
