She got in contact with our office staff and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Ian Schultz. Ian went to her home, carefully inspected her foundation wall, and drew out a solution that would benefit her wants and needs. She was confident in Ian's proposal of our ShotLock, so she signed his contract, put down a deposit, and scheduled a date for the installation.

Out ShotLock is double the strength of regular concrete, restores the safety and property value of the home, and is a fast alternate for rebuilding a deteriorating foundation wall. Dallas K. in Hills, MN was suffering from a wet basement. Water was seeping through his block foundation and his sump pump was old and overdue for maintenance. He contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate for basement waterproofing. We sent one of our expert Design Specialists to his home to inspect the basement and develop the proper solution. After the inspection, our Design Specialist determined that Dallas would best benefit by having our full waterproofing system installed and Dallas agreed.

Our production crew started the installation by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor and laying our WaterGuard drainage system. Then, they installed our TripleSafe sump pump in place of the old sump pump and replaced the concrete over the drainage system and around the sump pump. Since water was also leaking into the basement through the block foundation, we installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier system along the basement walls. This protects the basement from moisture and potential mold growth. The installation took a few days to complete, but now Dallas and his family are enjoying a dry, bright, and healthy space!

A homeowner in Adrain, ND, was watching their local news when their attention was caught by a segment discussing the dangers and importance of testing your radon levels. Worried their home could be at risk, the homeowner began looking into radon testing and mitigation near Adrain, ND. One of the first companies to catch their eye was us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of our Radon Sales & Service Technician, Jackson. Once he arrived, Jackson introduced himself to the homeowner and they performed one of the radon tests. Radon is an invisible, odorless, and tasteless gas that can lead to lung cancer and other health complications. Once the test was complete, Jackson discovered that the levels were significantly high and a radon mitigation system needed to be installed. Jackson shared his findings with the homeowner and recommended installing a radon mitigation system in the home. Wanting to lower their levels, the homeowner decided to go ahead with the proposal. After Jackson received the stamp of approval, he sent the proposal to our office to have it approved. Once the project was approved, Jackson was able to travel back to the home and install the Radon Mitigation System. Jackson successfully installed the Radon Mitigation System outside the home, so he cleaned up his materials and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know their home was no longer at risk. American Waterworks is happy to remove radon from its customer's homes. 

Madella, a homeowner in Oakes, ND, was having significant issues in her basement space; water was entering the basement at the cove joint, where the floor and wall meet.

Specifically, with musty smells, mold, and moisture issues, Madella decided to call American Waterworks for a FREE Estimate. Our Design Specialist, Richie, headed to the property for an inspection, and once Madella and Richie chatted, a plan was made to implement solutions.

Our Foreman, Arturo, and his crew began the project by clearing debris and readying the spaces for installation. Richie had advised Madella to invest in our WaterGuard system. This particular system is typically used in basements and is the premier choice for basement waterproofing as it is installed below the floor but rests atop the foundation, keeping it out of the "mud zone", making it harder to clog. Next, the team installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier to address water Issues. CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof plastic barrier installed right onto the problem walls and works to catch water entering the space through cracks and holes in the wall. This also reduces the home's chances of being exposed to radon. The crew also used spray foam to seal and waterproof the homeowner's crawl space. Our spray foam is designed to keep the heat inside and prevent cool air from coming in.

A homeowner in Oakes, ND, tripped walking into their home one evening. Concered that others would be injured, the homeowner knew they needed to fix the issue. The homeowner began looking into "sunken concrete repair near Oakes, ND" and their eye was caught by us, American Waterworks. After seeing our impressive reviews and services, the homeowner signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Dylan, to the home to inspect the sinking concrete. During his investigation, Dylan discovered the walkway was sinking into the ground due to settlement. To stop the settlement from continuing, Dylan recommended lifting and leveling the walkway back to its original state. The homeowner agreed with Dylan's recommendations, so he sent the proposal to our Logistics team to build the project. Once the project was built, the proposal was sent to our Foreman, Charlie, and his crew. Charlie and his crew traveled to the home and started the lift. The crew utilized PolyLevel, our polyurethane foam injection solution, to lift the walkway back to its original level. Once the walkway was lifted back to its original level, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the front yard cleaner than they arrived. American Waterworks is happy to repair its homeowner's struggling concrete.
