Miriam B. of Stacyville, IA had water leaking into her basement causing her to worry about mold growth and health concerns. She called our office line and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Jared Bruns. Jared went to her home, carefully diagnosed the water issues, and came up with a solution that fit her home repair needs. She was comfortable with Jared's design and presentation, so she scheduled an installation date.
Our Foreman, Jeromy Anderson, and his production team began the installation by breaking out the concrete perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which prevents water clogs, acts as an underground drain, and collects water seepage from basement walls. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier. Our CleanSpace is made to prevent mold and humidity problems, cover any divots or holes, and provides a neat and clean appearance. To complete the project, our team covered the open gaps with rock and applied new concrete. Miriam was thrilled with the work and had a great experience from start to finish with our crew!
A homeowner in Stacyville, IA was frustrated with the walkway leading up to his front door. Many of the slabs had sunk and created both an uneven path and tripping hazards for those walking on it. Desiree S. was suffering from a wet basement and a damaged foundation wall. The wall had multiple cracks, was bowing inward, and water was seeping through. She did her research and was glad to learn that American Waterworks has been the leading foundation repair contractor in the region for 30 years! She contacted us to receive a FREE estimate, so we sent a Design Specialist to her home to evaluate the situation and propose a permanent solution to fit her needs.
We were able to restore Desiree’s basement by installing Geo-lock wall anchors along the damaged foundation, which immediately halted the deterioration and began to straighten the wall. Then our production crew installed a full perimeter of our WaterGuard drainage system and our recommended TripleSafe sump pump. These waterproofing products work together to keep her basement a dry and healthy space. Desiree is happy she made the investment to protect her home.
A Claremont, MN, homeowner was doing some landscaping over a long weekend when he took a little tumble over a section of uneven concrete. The homeowner knew that many people frequented this concrete path, so he wanted to get it fixed right away, although he was unsure of who to turn to for his uneven concrete slab. One night he was watching a football game when he saw one of our commercials advertising lifting and leveling uneven concrete surfaces. He called the next day to set up his FREE estimate, and several weeks later, Brad W, one of our Design Specialists, headed out to the home.
Brad got right to work inspecting the concrete. When he finished, he informed the homeowner that his issue could be resolved with our PolyLevel injection. Brad explained that PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when its injected beneath uneven concrete slabs. It works to fill voids left by soil erosion, in the process, lifting the concrete back to it's desired location. Brad went on to say that as a safeguard measure, he was recommending our NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant gets applied to all cracks and joints in the newly lifted concrete and serves as a barrier against harsh weather conditions. The homeowner liked the sound of Brad's plan, and scheduled the job for several weeks later.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Pat B, and his team were able to complete the lift and seal with no issues. Now, our customer can enjoy a day tending to his home, without worries of uneven concrete!
