Cracked Steps Sealed in Pine City, MN

A homeowner in Pine City, MN, noticed that the cracks along his stairs had grown larger and was worried that it would impact its curb appeal. The homeowner then began searching for concrete lifting in the area and found our website. After browsing our website, the homeowner was impressed with our 5-star reviews and decided to contact us to schedule his FREE estimate.

In a couple of weeks, our Design Specialist, Gary S., arrived at the home to conduct a proper inspection of the front steps and walkway. The homeowner told Gary that he was only looking to seal the steps to make it more visually appealing. Gary then created a proposal suggesting our NexusPro to repair the cracks and to seal the joints. He explained to the homeowner that our NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant that is both flexible, long-lasting and can withstand harsh weather conditions. After reviewing the proposal, the homeowner happily agreed to move forward with the project and Gary's design was sent to our Foreman, Patrick B.

In about a month, Patrick and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. The installation was a complete success and the crew did not run into any issues! Once they were done, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

Bowing Foundation Walls in Ramsey, MN

Jen S. in Ramsey, MN had a bowing foundation wall in her home and a sinking garage. She visited the American Waterworks booth at a local home show and learned about our foundation repair solutions.

One of our Design Specialists, Shane Nephew, explained our wall anchors and push piers, and how they can permanently stabilize her foundation. She was interested to see if we could solve her foundation problem, so she set an appointment with Shane for a FREE onsite estimate. After Shane inspected her foundation wall and garage, he determined that installing 11 wall anchors on one side of the home and installing 8 piers underneath the garage, would permanently repair and stabilize her foundation.

She agreed with the plan that Shane developed, so we set an installation date. Once our crew had installed and tightened the wall anchors, Jen was able to see the drastic improvement with the stability of the wall.

The push piers installed under the garage raised the garage and secured the foundation, so Jen will never again have to worry about her foundation settling and the damage that can cause to a home. Jen now has peace of mind because she chose to invest in protecting her most valuable asset.

Egress Window Contractor in Anoka, MN

Sam I. of Anoka, MN was on the hunt for Egress Windows. He found us on our website and contacted us through our online chat. Sam liked what he saw on our website, so he scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Russ. Russ went to Sam's house, inspected his basement window, and provided a quote going over our Egress Window. Sam was comfortable with Russ's approach and felt confident in the product, so he went ahead with the installation.

Our Foreman, Clay, and his crew excavated out the soil around the basement window, forming a big trench. Once the trench was formed, our crew broke out the wall to install the Egress Window. Our Egress Windows are made to add light and fresh air to the basement while providing a safe way to exit from the home. After that, our team installed our RockWell Window Well, which is a one-piece construction that allows for a safe exit out of the home in case of an emergency. To complete the project, our team backfilled the soil and ensured the yard was cleaner than when they first got there.

Crawl Space Encapsulation in Anoka, MN

Marie of Anoka, MN, was beginning to notice that she was experiencing pooling water in the crawl space beneath her home. She wanted to know what could be done to fix the issue, so she gave us a call. When she got in contact with us, she used her FREE estimate with us to have our Design Specialist, Shane, out to her property to do a thorough inspection. When Shane completed, he was able to make a recommendation as to how American Waterworks could best help Marie. He suggested that we wrap the entire space in our CleanSpace to catch any water entering the space through cracks or porous holes in the walls of the space. Next, he wanted to use our drainage matting to ensure that any water would find its way to the appropriate disposal site. The raised dimples on this matting give the water flooding into the crawl space a natural channel underneath the crawl space liner that directs the water to a perimeter drain or sump pump. Marie agreed with Shane's recommendations and work began shortly after. Our Foreman, Chris, was able to make quick work of their installations. They ended up wrapping the basement in 460 sqft of CleanSpace and used another 260 sqft of our drainage matting on the floor of the crawl space. The crew finished the job by using our Spray Foam, a sprayable foam used to insulate the remaining cracks between the floor and ceiling joists.

When the job was completed, Marie was satisfied with the work and happy to know that her waterproofing issues were in the past!
