Our Foreman, Dan Hendrix, and his production team applied 1,670 square feet of our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier, designed to prevent wall leaks, mold build-up and humidity. Ave, a homeowner from Bethel, MN, reached out to our team because she was having issues with water continually leaking into the basement around the edge of the floor. The moisture along the walls was concerning to her, and so she wanted an expert to look at the situation and provide a FREE estimate.

We sent one of our Design Specialists, Shane Nephew, to evaluate the situation and propose a unique solution for her home. After the inspection, Shane recommended a combination of our waterproofing products. Ave approved the plan and moved forward with the project.  

Our Foreman, Lane Schlobohm, and his crew arrived at the home and promptly got to work. The team began the waterproofing project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor to create a trench. Then, they laid the WaterGuard in the trench. The wide-open design of this drain helps it resist clogs, while a removable lid allows for easy access and maintenance. Our drain system is custom-designed to protect and help keep your basement dry all the time! The team then installed a SuperSump sump pump. They filled the gaps with rock and replaced the concrete around the sump pump and over the WaterGuard. Water now properly drains to the sump pump through the WaterGuard. The water is then expelled from the home through the discharge line. Ave's peace of mind has been restored, and she can now enjoy a dry, healthier basement for years to come!

Terrie B. of Deerwood, MN had water leaking from her basement walls into her basement, causing water moisture problems and flooding hazards. She knew of one of our employees at American Waterworks, so she chose us to take care of her problems. Our Design Specialist, Shane Nephew, went to her home for a FREE Estimate to carefully inspect the problem and come up with a solution that worked for her and her budget. She was confident in Shane's proposal of our WaterGuard Drainage System and our TripleSafe Sump Pump, so she signed the contract, wrote out a deposit check, and got an installation date on the schedule. 

Our Foreman, Jeromy Anderson, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard, which serves as an underground drain, prevents water clogs, and collects water seepage from basement walls. Next, our team installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which provides three levels of protection and solves all three water problems in one system. To complete the project, Jeromy and his crew covered the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it. Terrie was happy with the work that was done and had a great experience from the appointment to installation!

Donald D. in Spring Valley, MN had a bowing foundation wall in his basement and decided it was time to have it looked at by a professional to try and prevent any further damage. Donald had worked with us before and had a good experience, so he trusted that we would be able solve his foundation problem. He met with our Design Specialist, Rick Weber, for a FREE estimate. Rick determined that the best solution would be to install 4 wall anchors to stabilize the wall. Donald agreed that was the best course of action, so he scheduled the installation. 

The installation took a day to complete and Donald was able to see the dramatic change in the stability of the wall once the anchors were tightened. Donald was glad that he chose to permanently protect his foundation from further deterioration instead of having to potentially replaced the entire foundation.

A homeowner in Spring Valley, MN, noticed water stains on their basement floor. Unsure where the water was coming from, the homeowner wanted an expert to inspect their basement. After asking their neighborhood Facebook group, the homeowner saw several members recommended working with us. The homeowner went to our website to inspect the work we do and they were impressed with our services. Since they were already on the website, they signed up for their FREE estimate. When the appointment was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of Eric, a Design Specialist. When Eric arrived at the home, the homeowner showed him where they discovered the water stains. After taking a closer look at the basement, Eric determined the basement needed a waterproofing makeover. Eric proposed that WaterGuard be installed in the basement to stop further intrusion. The homeowner decided to follow Eric's suggestions and the plans were directed to the assigned crew. Our Foreman, Kiko, and his crew were assigned to the job, so they gathered their materials and made their way to the home. Upon arrival, the crew prepped the basement for installation. When they were ready, the crew installed the WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. After the WaterGuard was installed, the crew shifted their focus to attaching CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. Once the CleanSpace was attached, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was grateful to know their basement was properly waterproofed.
