In St Paul, MN, a homeowner had noticed that their concrete sidewalk had begun sinking, causing a large crack to form. Concerned that it was a possible trip hazard, the homeowner began looking into concrete leveling services in the area and found us. In less than a week, our Design Specialist, Greg G, arrived at the home to conduct a thorough inspection of the concrete. During the inspection, he identified which concrete slabs were trip hazards and which needed lifting. To lift the slabs back to their original position, Greg recommended using PolyLevel, our fast-curing foam expanding formula that is designed to lift uneven concrete slabs, and NexusPro, our silicone-based sealant to repair the cracks and seal the joints and provide a seamless look. In about a month, our Foreman, Troy J., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. At first they began by drilling small holes into the concrete slabs. Then, the injection ports are inserted, and PolyLevel is injected beneath the slabs. Once it fills the voids and lifts the concrete slabs back to their original positions, the holes are sealed and the crew applied NexusPro.

Sam from Saint Paul, Mn was in hopes of renewing his basement systems to help provide his home with more security against water that could potentially harm the foundation of his home. The first step he took to protect his home was to upgrade his sump pump and insert a new drainage system. Sam immediately contacted the Appointment Center here at American Waterworks and scheduled his Free Estimate which entitled him to a full home inspection. Once scheduled, our Design Specialist then attended his home and began a thorough inspection of the property. Our Design Specialist then proposed to Sam that the best solution is to invest in our TripleSafe Sump Pump system along with our Waterguard Drainage system. Sam was comfortable with the proposal and went forward with the project by setting a date of installation. 

Once the date of installation arrived, our Foreman along with his Production team  attended to the property and began to jackhammer the concrete along the perimeter of the basement to insert the WaterGuard Drainage System. Our WaterGuard is a patented below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage on top of the foundation footing. This type of WaterGuard is most commonly used due to the resistance against water clogs and easy access ports to properly flush out the mud from the system. Once inserted the Production team then proceeded to remove the old sump pump system and replace it with a TripleSafe Sump Pump. The TripleSafe Sump Pump has three levels of protection which helps solve all three water problems. Once the job was done the team then places a fresh layer of concrete over the project to provide a finishing look and secure the system to stay in place.
