A customer from Rushmore, MN, contacted us when they suspected they might have a Radon gas present in their home. Our crew went out to the property and the Design Specialist, Kevin, recommended that the customer invests in a Radon mitigation system because of the high levels of Radon he found to be prevalent in the home. Our Foreman, Dakota, worked to install the system and will follow up with the customer if further issues present themselves. Our Radon mitigation systems work to suck the Radon out of the area, pipe it upwards, and expel the gas out and away from the home.
A homeowner in Chandler, MN, saw that their garage floor was beginning to slowly lower. Since they had an annual maintenance appointment coming up, the homeowner called our Appointment Center and scheduled their appointment for concrete repair. After setting the appointment, the homeowner awaited the arrival of one of our Service Technicians, Rasean. Once Rasean arrived at the home, he began his detailed analysis of the garage floor. Rasean determined the garage floor was settling, so he recommended lifting the affected concrete. Wanting to avoid total concrete replacement, the homeowner agreed. Rasean forwarded the plans to the office to be approved. Once approved, the office assigned them to our Foreman, Domanik, and his crew. Domanik and the crew traveled to the home to start production. First, the crew installed the PolyLevel underneath the garage floors. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam injection solution that instantly raises sunken concrete. The crew lifted the entire garage floor. Once the garage floor was lifted, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed again with the excellent work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is glad to assist homeowner following their original appointment.
A homeowner in Rutland, ND, was concerned about a foul odor coming from their crawl space. Unsure of the cause, the homeowner looked for a crawl space repair company to provide them with an explanation. Following a friend's referral, the homeowner decided to sign up for a FREE estimate with American Waterworks. We sent our Design Specialist, Ian, to the property to find the cause of the issue. Following his in-depth inspection, Ian discovered that the crawl space was unencapsulating, leading to unwanted water in the space which creates wood rot, mold, and mildew. Ian recommended that the crawl space be repaired to prevent any further damage. The homeowners agreed so the solution preparation began. Before the crew's arrival, the homeowners were asked to clear any debris from the crawl space and move the washer. Once the crew arrived, they ensured that the crawl space was cleared and leveled before repairs could start. First, the crew installed CleanSpace on the west, south, and east crawl space floors. As detailed in the plans, the crew was allowed to wrap up the wall as needed with CleanSpace. Once the CleanSpace was installed, the crew moved to apply Sprayfoam along the exterior facing joist pockets. Sprayfoam was applied on a whole wall in the seat crawlspace. The homeowner was pleased with the work done by the crew. If you are experiencing a similar issue, sign up for your FREE estimate today!
