Our Foreman, Ryan, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor with a jackhammer, forming a hole. Inside the home, our crew installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, along with the discharge line. Dan R. in Ivanhoe, MN had learned about the dangers of radon gas and decided that he needed to get his home tested. The test results showed a high level of radon. During the installation process, our Foreman, Dakota Merchlewitz, drilled a hole through the floor in the basement to insert a PVC pipe and create a suction point for the radon gas. They got in contact with our office staff and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Ryan Powell. Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench, and diagonally down the middle, forming a feed line. In the perimeter trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System in connection with the feed line. Our WaterGuard is made to prevent water clogs, serve as an underground drain, and collect water seepage from basement walls. Next, Matt and his team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace is made to prevent humidity and mold build-up, and act as an extra wall protectant. Then, our team installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which is provided with three layers of protection and solves all three water problems in one system. Lastly, our team installed our GeoLock Wall Anchors to stabilize and straighten the foundation wall. Our wall anchors are embedded in stable soil outside of the foundation wall and is connected by a long, medal rod to a wall plate that provides clamping pressure against the inside of the foundation wall. To complete the project, our crew covered the open gaps throughout the trench and feed line with rock and applied new concrete.
