Our production team installed the SmartJacks first to hold up the beams and provide permanent support. Then, they removed the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and installed the WaterGuard drainage system and SuperSump sump pump. Lastly, they installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier to keep mold and moisture out of the basement. Water is now guided through the drainage system and led to the sump pump, where it is then discharged from the home. The combination of these foundation repair and waterproofing products have created a dry, clean, and stable basement for Douglas. A homeowner from Saint Paul, MN, was bringing home some groceries one day when she took a nasty tumble going up her front concrete stairs. When she turned to look to see where the hazard was, she was surprised to see that her front concrete walkway was slowly sinking and separating from his front concrete stairs. PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath sinking concrete slabs. It works to fill voids left by soil erosion and, in the process, lifts the concrete back to its desired height.  Kyle went on to say that once the concrete had been lifted, he wanted to see the lift protected with our NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant gets applied to the cracks and joints in the newly lifted concrete and works to prevent unwanted moisture from getting below the slab. The homeowner liked the sound of protecting his investment and decided to schedule the job for several weeks later.
