A homeowner in Menomonie, WI, discovered stair-step cracks growing up the side of the concrete wall. Concerned this could become a serious issue, the homeowner knew they needed to find a permanent solution. Knowing they could not repair it themselves, the homeowner knew they needed to find an expert to provide them with a solution. The homeowner looked into "foundation repair near me" and one of the first companies to catch their eye was us, American Waterworks. Since they were already on their website, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Darin. A few days later, Darin promptly arrived at the home and began the thorough inspection of the foundation. During his inspection, Darin confirmed the foundation was slacking due to settlement. To prevent the settlement from continuing, Darin recommended installing GeoLock Wall Anchors on the suffering walls. Knowing this was their best plan of action, the homeowner decided to go ahead with Darin's recommendations. Next, Darin passed the recommendations off to our Logistics team to give the final stamp of approval. Once the plans were approved by our Logistics team, it was assigned to our Foreman, Lane, and his crew. Once the project date arrived, Lane and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Lane and his crew made sure the walls were ready for the installation. Next, Lane and his team went ahead and installed 14 GeoLock Wall Anchors on the cracked foundation. Once all the GeoLocks were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed with the excellent work completed by the crew, so they left a five-star review. American Waterworks is happy to repair its homeowner's struggling foundation walls.
Martin D. in Lansing, IA has a two-story home with a walk-in basement built into a steep hillside. His home was built right next to the Mississippi River. They have had problems with their basement flooding for several years, especially during heavy rains. They were tired of dealing with a wet basement, so they contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate. One of our Design Specialists, Mike Radosevich, went to the home to inspect the basement and provide them with the right solution. After meeting with Mike, Martin felt confident in our company and our products, so he chose to have our waterproofing system installed.
Our Foreman, Hugo Sanchez, and his crew installed our WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement floor, a TripleSafe sump pump in the corner, and a SaniDry dehumidifier, which keeps the humidity in the basement under control. The drainage system guides water to the sump pump, and from there the water is expelled from the home through the discharge line. Martin is happy with the outcome and has been able to enjoy a dry, healthier basement since the installation!

A customer from Lansing, IA got in contact with us when they began to fear that their home may be inhibited by Radon, a colorless, odorless, naturally occurring gas that comes from the breakdown and decay of the soil that surrounds the foundation of the home. When our customer called in, we set them up with a FREE no-obligation estimate. Our Design Specialist, Jarrett, headed out to the property to see what could be done. He began by performing a 48-hour charcoal test, which he left behind to monitor the levels of Radon in the home. Once completed, the home was found to have unsafe levels of Radon. Jarrett recommended the installation of a Radon mitigation system and the couple agreed.
Our Production crew, led by Dakota, installed the system in no time. Now, our customers don't need to worry about breathing hazardous gas in their home!
David S. in Harpers Ferry, IA was unhappy with his cracked and uneven patio. He wanted it completely level and to have the cracks sealed. After researching concrete repair contractors and receiving estimates, he was pleased to learn that our PolyLevel foam injection is an effective, quick and more affordable alternative to traditional concrete repair, and he moved forward with the project.
Our concrete repair experts drilled small holes in the concrete slabs and then injected the polymer foam to raise the slabs to be even with the garage floor. Once the concrete was raised, the crew replaced the concrete in the holes and sealed the concrete slabs with our SealantPro which protects the concrete and gives it a nice, finished look. The process took a couple of hours and now David can enjoy a beautiful patio for years to come!

A homeowner of Boyceville, WI had a sump pump that was not working up to their standards. The old basket wasn't keeping up with the water coming into the basement. Our team at American Waterworks replaced their existing sump pump with our TripleSafe Sump Pump System which is the best sump pump we offer to homeowners because of its triple protection and its ability to solve all three problems in one unit. It also comes with a battery backup so if the power goes out, the water can still be discharged out of the home.
