A homeowner from La Crosse, WI, had been reading a local newspaper when she saw one of our print ads for radon gas mitigation. She didn't know much about radon, so she took to the internet. What she found out was very disconcerting, so she decided to call us to schedule a FREE estimate. Several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Brad W, was headed out to the home.
When Brad arrived, the first step in his process was to place a continuous radon monitoring test in the lowest level of the home. Brad explained that this test works to record the radon levels within the home over a 48-hour timespan. After the test concludes, an average radon level will be delivered. Brad went on to say that if the levels came back higher than 4 pCi/L, he would strongly recommend the installation of a radon mitigation system. He explained that a typical radon mitigation system consists of a large-diameter plastic pipe that connects the air beneath your foundation to the outdoors. An in-line fan sucks radon-rich air from beneath your foundation and expels this hazardous air to the exterior. Instead of entering your basement or other living space area through numerous gaps and cracks in the foundation, radon gas is extracted from beneath your foundation before it can permeate into interior space. The homeowner liked the sound of Brad's plan but decided to wait until the results returned to make a choice.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Geno M, and his team were able to effortlessly install the system within the home. Now, our customer can have confidence in the air circulating in her home!
A homeowner from La Crosse, WI, was in the process of remodeling his home when he tore out a large section of drywall and uncovered a large crack in his basement wall, which seemed to be bowing inward. The homeowner did some research on his own and wondered if foundation anchors would save the basement. The homeowner knew he was in over his head, so he took to the internet to search for 'residential foundation repair near me' and quickly found our website. He signed up for his FREE estimate, and several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Chuck H, was out at the home.
Chuck performed his inspection and then met with the homeowner. He began by informing the homeowner that foundation walls are designed to withstand loads from above, not the side. So when the pressure on the side of the wall exceeds what it can withstand, it's not uncommon for homeowners to see cracking, bowing, sliding in at the bottom, and/or tilting inward at the top. Chuck could tell the homeowner was growing uneasy with the diagnosis, so he quickly reassured the homeowner that we could help remedy the issue. He informed the homeowner that his assumption hadn't been far off and that he was recommending our GeoLock wall anchors. Chuck elaborated, stating that this innovative system works to counteract foundation failure by anchoring the wall to the hard-packed undisturbed soil beyond the foundation, permanently stabilizing your basement walls, and offering the best opportunity to straighten the walls without the cost and disruption of foundation replacement. The homeowner was thrilled with Chuck's recommendation and scheduled the job on the spot.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Victor S, and his team effortlessly installed 5 of our GeoLock anchors on the problem walls in the basement. Now, our customer can continue the remodel, knowing that their foundation will stand the test of time!

He was worried that if he let the issue worsen, it might compromise the structural integrity of the home. He decided to look for foundation repair Wisconsin, and quickly found our website. He set up his FREE estimate, and several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Mac C, was out at the home.
After Mac concluded his estimate inspection, he met with the homeowner and informed him that he was experiencing foundation issues because the wall was facing pressure from the side. Foundation walls are designed to withstand loads from the top, not the side. When the pressure becomes too much for the wall to withstand, it's not uncommon for homeowners to see cracking, bowing, sliding in at the bottom, and/or tilting inward at the top. Mac went on to reassure the homeowner that there was a solution: our GeoLock anchors. This innovative system counteracts the pressure on the wall by anchoring it to the hard-packed undisturbed soil beyond the foundation. The homeowner was thrilled with Mac's solution and scheduled the job to be installed the following month.
