A Marshall, MN, homeowner had noticed several cracks running down his foundation walls over the years. He did not want to worry about the problem any longer, so he decided to find a foundation repair company out of Minnesota. After he found our website, he signed up for his FREE estimate, and several weeks later, our Design Specialist was headed out to the home.
Our Design Specialist got right to work assessing the basement. When he finished, he was ready to make his recommendation, our CarbonArmor system. He explained that foundation wall cracks and bowing basement walls are signs that your foundation requires repair. CarbonArmor® straps are a quick, affordable way to stabilize block and poured concrete walls that have cracked and that are showing signs of bowing. Our installers determine the number of straps required depending on the pressure being exerted and the length of the affected wall. The super strong carbon fiber straps are then attached to the wall with epoxy. While this method does not restore a bowed wall to its original plumb state, it will halt further movement and cracks. And because the straps don't protrude from the wall the way I-beams do, the repair can be easily covered with mortar, paint, or light wall panels. The homeowner liked the sound of our Design Specialists plan and signed on the spot.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Raul B, led his team through the successful installation of 13 CarbonArmor strips throughout the basement. Now, our customer can breathe easy knowing his foundation worries have been halted!

In less than a week, our Design Specialist, Ryan P., arrived at the home for the inspection. During the inspection, Ryan noticed water stains along the perimeter of the basement, along with mold growth on the walls. To fix this issue, Ryan recommended installing TripleSafe, our extremely reliable sump pump system with three pumps in one unit for the ultimate protection against water, and IceGuard, our anti-freeze discharge line that allows water to escape in case the discharge pipes freeze. After reviewing Ryan's recommendations, the homeowner happily agreed and decided to move forward with the project.
In a couple of months, our Foreman, Diego B., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. After the successful installation, the crew ensured everything was working properly before cleaning up their equipment and leaving the home.

A homeowner in Marshall, MN, knew it was time to repair their sunken and damaged concrete. Worried this could become a tripping hazard, the homeowner knew they needed to find an expert to provide them with a proper solution. The homeowner looked into "concrete leveling near Marshall, MN," and one of the first companies to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks. Impressed with our stellar ratings and reviews, the homeowner decided to go ahead and sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Shane. The next day, Shane promptly arrived at the home and began the thorough inspection of the basement. During the inspection, Shane confirmed the sidewalk was suffering from settlement. To prevent the settlement from continuing, Shane recommended lifting and leveling the area with PolyLevel, a polyurthane foam injection solution. Knowing this was the best plan of action, the homeowner agreed and worked with Shane to find the best installation date. When the installation date arrived, our Foreman, Troy, and his crew traveled to the home to begin. First, Troy and his crew lifted the sidewalk using PolyLevel. Once the area was lifted, the crew shifted to taking out the old joints and repairing the cracks with NexusPro, a silicone-based solution. After all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their matierals and left the home. The homeowner was grateful for the excellent work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to repair its customers' damaged concrete.
Shirley, of Tower City, ND, enlisted our services when she began to notice water entering the basement of her church. She got in touch with us and scheduled her FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Kole, of our Fargo branch. Soon after, Kole was out at the property to thoroughly inspect the damage, diagnose the cause, and see what we could do to help Shirley and her congregation. Kole discovered that water was entering the property through the walls of the basement, leading to the moisture in the basement Shirley had described. He recommended Shirley invest in our CleanSpace vapor barrier, paired with our WaterGuard drain system, and our SuperSump Plus to give the excess water the appropriate place to drain.
The Foreman, Cameron, and his crew began work soon after. They began by installing the WaterGuard drainage system below the concrete of the floor, resting it atop the footing of the foundation. Next, they installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier on the North and South walls of the basement to address the leakage coming through the walls. The CleanSpace works hand-in-hand with the WaterGuard, as it catches the water entering through the wall, trapping it behind a tarp-like layer, and redirecting it down to the WaterGuard. Finally, Cameron and his crew installed the SuperSump Plus to gather the water that the CleanSpace and WaterGuard trapped.
Now Shirley and her congregation have peace of mind knowing their shared space will be water-free for a long time to come!
Homeowners in Okabena, MN had water leaking into their basement, causing them to worry about water moisture and flooding. They did their research and came across American Waterworks. They called our office line and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Eric Hazelton. Eric went to their home, carefully examined their problems, and came up with a solution that fit their needs and budget. The homeowners were satisfied with our products and warranty, so they went ahead with the installation.
Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which serves as an underground drain that connects to the sump pump, prevents water clogs, and collects water seepage from basement walls. Next, our team covered the open trench gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it. The homeowners were happy with the work and were glad they no longer had to worry about their water problems!
