Shirley, of Tower City, ND, enlisted our services when she began to notice water entering the basement of her church. She got in touch with us and scheduled her FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Kole, of our Fargo branch. Soon after, Kole was out at the property to thoroughly inspect the damage, diagnose the cause, and see what we could do to help Shirley and her congregation. Kole discovered that water was entering the property through the walls of the basement, leading to the moisture in the basement Shirley had described. He recommended Shirley invest in our CleanSpace vapor barrier, paired with our WaterGuard drain system, and our SuperSump Plus to give the excess water the appropriate place to drain.
The Foreman, Cameron, and his crew began work soon after. They began by installing the WaterGuard drainage system below the concrete of the floor, resting it atop the footing of the foundation. Next, they installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier on the North and South walls of the basement to address the leakage coming through the walls. The CleanSpace works hand-in-hand with the WaterGuard, as it catches the water entering through the wall, trapping it behind a tarp-like layer, and redirecting it down to the WaterGuard. Finally, Cameron and his crew installed the SuperSump Plus to gather the water that the CleanSpace and WaterGuard trapped.
Now Shirley and her congregation have peace of mind knowing their shared space will be water-free for a long time to come!
Homeowners in Okabena, MN had water leaking into their basement, causing them to worry about water moisture and flooding. They did their research and came across American Waterworks. They called our office line and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Eric Hazelton. Eric went to their home, carefully examined their problems, and came up with a solution that fit their needs and budget. The homeowners were satisfied with our products and warranty, so they went ahead with the installation.
Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which serves as an underground drain that connects to the sump pump, prevents water clogs, and collects water seepage from basement walls. Next, our team covered the open trench gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it. The homeowners were happy with the work and were glad they no longer had to worry about their water problems!
A homeowner in Okabena, MN, noticed the slight crack on their wall had grown tremendously. Worried this could lead to more serious issues, the homeowner knew they needed to find a solution. The homeowner looked into "wall anchor system installation near me", and one of the first companies to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks. After reviewing our impressive reviews, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Eric. A few days later, Eric arrived at the home and began a thorough inspection of the basement. During his inspection, Eric confirmed that several walls were beginning to bow. To prevent this issue from worsening, Eric recommended securing GeoLock Wall Anchors on these damaged walls. The homeowner agreed and worked with Eric to find the best installation date. Once the installation date arrived, our Foreman, Raul, and his crew traveled to the home to begin. First, Raul and his crew ensured the walls were ready for the GeoLock Wall Anchor installation. Next, the crew secured 15 GeoLock Wall Anchors along the bowing walls. After all the GeoLocks were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was delighted with the excellent work done by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to provide its customers peace of mind knowing their walls are no longer bowing.
Larry, from Odessa, MN, was looking for solutions for his vacation home's basement. The basement was experiencing water intrusion during rainy days, so he decided to call American Waterworks for a FREE estimate. Shortly after the appointment was scheduled, our Design Specialist, Shane, headed out to the property.
Following a thorough inspection, Shane recommended that Larry invest in our WaterGuard system. This particular system is typically used in basements and is the premier choice for basement waterproofing. It is installed below the floor but rests atop the foundation, keeping it out of the "mud zone" and making it harder to clog.
Ron agreed, and our crew got to work.
Our Foreman, Tremaine, and his crew began implementing our WaterGuard System, a patented below-floor drain that rests in a drainage bed on top of the foundation footing. It is our most commonly used drain system because of its resistance to water clogs, easy-to-access service ports, and can collect leaking water from basement walls. The team then covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete.
The drainage system now properly guides water to the sump pump, which pushes it through the discharge line and expels it from the home.
After all was said and done, Larry was very glad he decided to use American Waterworks and had his peace of mind restored.
Larry G. in Heron Lake, MN had two cracked and bowing walls in his basement. He was worried about the pressure it was putting on his foundation and the damage it could cause, so he contacted the foundation repair experts at American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate.
After meeting with one of our Design Specialists, he chose to have wall anchors installed, which is one of our foundation repair products. Our production crew started the installation by drilling small holes through the block foundation and inserting long metal rods. They secured each end of the rod with anchor plates and tightened them as far as they could go, which permanently secured the wall. Wall anchors also provide the possibility for the wall to straighten over time. Larry was pleased with the installation and is glad he chose American Waterworks to permanently repair his foundation!
