Charles from Buffalo, ND was looking for a way to make his basement safer and drier. He decided he would call American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate, so we sent a Design Specialist, Evan, to his home to inspect his basement and create the right solution for his needs.

After heading out to his property to complete the inspection, our Design Specialist, Evan, showed Charles why a better water filter was needed, and what American Waterworks could do to drain moisture and eliminate water settlement. Our Crew, lead by our Foreman, Tanner, installed our  WaterGuard System. Our WaterGuard collects water leakage from basement walls, serves as an underground drain, and prevents water and mud clogs by staying out of the mud zone. To finish the job, our team filled the broken space with rock, applied new concrete, and ensured the space was left clean and dry! This plan was implemented by our Foreman Cyrus, and his crew. They started the project by removing the stairs, installing WaterGuard around the perimeter, and tying it to the existing pump. This serves as an underground drain that will collect water seeping into the space. Next, Cyrus and the team added our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier around the wall in the garage to prevent mold and humidity and serve as a wall protectant.

A homeowner in Graceville, MN was tired of dealing with her worn down and old basement space. Derek G. in Dawson, MN was concerned about his wet basement and cracked foundation walls. He had inward bowing walls and water was seeping through. He contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate, and we sent one of our Design Specialists, Ryan Powell, to his home to evaluate the situation. Derek approved of the proposed solution and moved forward with an installation date.

Our Foreman, Jose Castillo, and his production team removed the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor. They installed 22 PowerBraces and secured them to the walls before laying the WaterGuard drainage system. Once the WaterGuard was laid, they installed our SuperSump and CleanSpace wall vapor barrier, filled back the gaps in the concrete with rock, and replaced the concrete. The installation took a couple of days to complete, but Derek is now confident in the stability of his home, and he has peace of mind that his basement will remain dry.
