Cole has worked for American Waterworks since August of 2017. Prior to joining our team, he worked as a farm hand for 3 years. His day to day duties include installing our waterproofing and foundation repair systems. He enjoys working for American Waterworks because he likes being able to make the customer happy by assuring them that they will no longer have water in their basement, or problems with their foundation.
In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing and hanging out with his family. We are thrilled to have Cole as a part of our team!
Robert K. in Cashton, WI had several cracks in the walls in his basement and was concerned about the pressure that was being put on his foundation. He started looking into foundation repair contractors and was glad to learn that American Waterworks is the leading contractor in foundation repair in the region. We sent our Design Specialist, Rick Weber, to his home to evaluate the situation and propose a unique solution to fit his needs and goals. Robert approved of the plan and moved forward with an installation date.
Our Foreman, Cole Brinkman, and production crew got to work installing our Geo-Lock Channel Anchor System. They started the process by drilling small holes through the brick wall for long metal rods to be inserted. The rods are then stabilized on each end with a channel anchor. The Channel Anchor System provides a permanent solution for bowing, buckling, tilting, or inward-moving foundation walls that are demonstrating signs of extreme wall failure. This solution includes a channel anchor that mounts on the foundation floor and wall for optimal bracing and failure protection. Robert can rest easy knowing that his foundation is now permanently stabilized.

Kevin L. in Galesville, WI had dealt with a wet basement for the last 40 years, and he was finally tired of it. He did his research and learned that American Waterworks has been the leading waterproofing contractor in the region for the last 30 years. He met with one of our Design Specialists, Eric Hazelton, who evaluated the situation and designed a unique solution.
Our Foreman, Cole Brinkman, and his production crew were able to successfully waterproof Kevin’s basement by installing 160 feet of our WaterGuard drainage system and our recommended TripleSafe sump pump. The WaterGuard French drain is designed to be installed below the floor slab, resting on top of the foundation footing. This keeps this drainage system out of the "mud zone", where drains can clog. Kevin is happy he found a permanent solution to protect his home.
Beverly K. in Peterson, MN had water seeping through the walls into her basement which was starting to cause serious damage to the foundation and creating a musty smell. She was concerned about the air quality of her home and started to do some research. She learned that American Waterworks is the leading contractor in basement waterproofing and gave us a call. We sent our Design Specialist to her home to evaluate the situation and propose a unique solution to fit her needs and goals. She approved of the plan and moved forward with the installation date.
Our Foreman, Cole Brinkman, and the production crew got to work. They started the installation by removing the concrete and laying 119 feet of the WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement. Then, they installed the sump pump and our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls. The drainage system now properly guides water to the sump pump, and from there the water is pushed through the discharge line and expelled from the home. Beverly also had a SaniDry XP Dehumidifer installed to ensure her basement was protected from excess moisture. The SaniDry XP removes up to 109 liters of water per day and is more powerful and energy efficient than ever! Beverly is glad she made the investment to protect her home.

Douglas P. in Saint Paul, MN had a crack in his foundation where water was leaking in. Any time he experienced a heavy rain, water would start to pool in his basement with no where to go. He started looking for a waterproofing company, and he found American Waterworks on Home Advisor. He got in touch with us to receive a FREE estimate, so we sent one of our Design Specialists, Chad Johnson, to his home to inspect his basement and design a solution. While Chad was there, he noticed that the support beams in his basement had started to sag, which was causing the cracks in the foundation. Chad recommended that we install SmartJacks as well as our waterproofing system to ensure that his basement would permanently be a dry space. Douglas agreed, and he liked the proposal that Chad presented, so he decided to move forward with the installation.
Our production team installed the SmartJacks first to hold up the beams and provide permanent support. Then, they removed the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and installed the WaterGuard drainage system and SuperSump sump pump. Lastly, they installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier to keep mold and moisture out of the basement.
