A homeowner in Fargo, ND, had been dealing with a cracked driveway for years. Hoping to eventually resell the home, she decided that it was time to fix the issue. She headed to the internet to do research of her own, and found out website. She decided to take advantage of our FREE estimates, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Dylan J, headed out to the home. Once he completed his walkthrough, he informed the homeowner that American Waterworks could fix the issue by using our PolyLevel lifting and leveling method. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that expands when injected below sinking concrete, filling voids left by soil erosion, and slowly lifting the slabs back into place. Dylan finished by saying that the final step in our process is to install our NexusPro. A silicone-base sealant, NexusPro gets applied to all cracks and joints of the concrete slab, preventing any unwanted water from getting below the slab, potentially compromising the lift. The homeowner agreed and the work was scheduled to be completed a few weeks later.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Sam, made quick work of the project. When it was completed, our homeowner was thrilled to know she had restored concrete and refreshed curb appeal!

First, Charlie and his crew started by lifting the sunken driveway with PolyLevel. Once the driveway was lifted, the crew shifted their focus to repairing the damaged joints throughout the concrete. The crew filled these cracks using NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant. After the cracks were filled, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was grateful for the wonderful work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to repair its customer's struggling concrete.

In less than a week, our Design Specialist, Ian S., arrived at the home to provide a comprehensive inspection. During the inspection, he explained to the homeowner that the soil washout is the likely reason the slabs have begun sinking. Soil washout is the process in which water moves through the ground and washes away the supporting soils that are keeping the slabs upright. Over time, this causes voids in the soil, and the slabs would begin to sink. To effectively fix this issue, Ian recommended PolyLevel to lift the concrete slabs back to their original positions, and NexusPro to repair the cracks that have formed and to seal the joints. After looking over Ian's proposal, the homeowner happily agreed to his recommendations and scheduled the installation date with our crew.
In a couple of weeks, our Foreman, Charlie C., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. The crew began by drilling small holes into the concrete slabs. PolyLevel is then injected beneath the slabs, filling in the voids and lifting the slabs. Once the slabs have been lifted to the desired height, the crew seals the holes and focuses their attention on applying NexusPro. They applied NexusPro along the joints and cracks. After they were done with the installation, the crew cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

Derek went on to explain that he would also recommend the homeowner consider our NexusPro; a silicone based sealant that is specially designed to provide the slabs with increased flexibility, and to stand up against harsh weather. Nexus pro sealant is applied to the joints and cracks in concrete to provide security for the fresh lift. The homeowner was thrilled with Derek's plan, and happy to know a local company would be fixing the issues.
