A homeowner in Shoreview, MN, noticed their sidewalk was uneven and becoming a trip hazard. Worried this would become a serious issue, the homeowner knew they needed to find an expert to provide them with a solution. The homeowner looked into “heaving concrete repair near me” and one of the first companies to populate was us, American Waterworks. After seeing our award-winning concrete lifting and leveling services, the homeowner knew we were the ideal company for their project. Since they were already on our website, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Tony, to take a closer look. Tony promptly arrived at the home to begin the estimate. During his inspection, Tony confirmed the sidewalk was sinking. Tony recommended lifting the sidewalk back to its original position. The homeowner agreed with Tony’s recommendations, then Tony passed the proposal to our Logistics team to build and schedule the project. Our Logistics team built and scheduled the project for a few weeks later. Once the project date arrived, our Foreman, Patrick, and his crew traveled to the home to begin. First, Patrick and his crew started by installing PolyLevel underneath the sidewalk. Once the sidewalk was properly lifted, the crew shifted to repairing the crack with NexusPro. After the cracks were repaired, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was grateful to know the tripping hazards were eliminated. American Waterworks is happy to provide their homeowners’ peace of mind.
A Saint Paul, MN, homeowner was beginning the process of selling his home. But before he could contact realtors, he knew there were several areas of his home that had to be updated to ensure he got the best value for his home. He began with his front concrete walkway, which had been slowly sinking over the years, creating numerous trip hazards and an eyesore. Figuring the easiest way to fix the issue was by ripping out the concrete and repouring, he searched for "concrete replacement near me" and found American Waterworks. He decided to sign up for one of our FREE estimates, and a few weeks later, Jesse W, one of our Design Specialists, made a stop out at the home.
Jesse completed a thorough inspection of the area, and when he completed it, he met with the homeowner. Jesse began by saying that the homeowner was correct to contact us. He explained that, in his opinion, the concrete could be restored at a much cheaper price point than full replacement. He went on to say that he was recommending our PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath sinking concrete. It works to fill voids left by soil erosion, and in the process, slowly lifts the sunken slab back to its desired location. Jesse went on to say that, once the lift had been completed, he wanted to utilize our NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant goes hand in hand with PolyLevel, as it's applied to the cracks and joints in the newly leveled concrete and works to prevent unwanted moisture from getting to the vulnerable soil below. The homeowner, thrilled to know that Jesse's recommendation would not only be cheaper but effective as well, decided to schedule his project for several weeks later.
On the day of the project, our team, led by their Foreman, Pat B, was able to lift, level, and seal the concrete effortlessly. Now our customer can confidently list his home knowing everything, down to the concrete, is in tip-top shape!
John H. of Maplewood, MN was tired of having sunken steps on his front porch. He saw an advertisement for American Waterworks and was interested to learn more about our concrete repair solution. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Kevin McWithey, to his home to inspect his concrete problem and design a solution. Kevin assured him that we could have his steps raised and leveled within a matter of hours by using our PolyLevel injection. John was happy to hear this, so he set a date for the injection.
Our concrete repair experts, Jared Wroblewski and Trevor Ellingson, drilled small holes into the concrete slabs where the foam needed to be injected. They injected the foam until the steps were raised and leveled back to their original position. John is glad he found a concrete repair solution that is a faster, durable and more affordable alternative to traditional concrete repair. The process only took a couple of hours, and now John and his family are able to enjoy a beautiful front porch for years to come!
A homeowner from Saint Paul, MN, was noticing dangerous trip hazards forming beyond a set of concrete stairs, leading to her backyard. Not wanting anyone to take an unnecessary tumble, she decided to get in touch with a company to fix the issue. On the recommendation of a family member, she got in touch with American Waterworks, set up her FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Canon T, headed out to the home to assess the concrete.
Once his inspection concluded, Canon informed the homeowner that we could remedy the sinking concrete by using our PolyLevel. Canon explained that PolyLevel is a dense, polyurethane foam that expands when injected beneath sinking concrete, filling voids left by soil erosion and slowly lifting the slab back into place. He went on to say that we finish all of our lifts with the application of our NexusPro. A silicone-based sealant, NexusPro gets applied to the cracks and joints of the concrete and works to prevent unwanted debris or moisture from getting beneath the slab, potentially comprising the lift. The homeowner liked the sound of the plan, and the job was scheduled to be completed a month or so later.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Jordan, and his team were able to complete the lift and seal with no complications. Now our homeowner can breathe easy knowing her trip hazards have been fixed!
A homeowner from Maplewood, MN, was beginning to notice that a section of her concrete patio was beginning to sink. She had been aware of the issue for a few years and had kept a close eye on it. The concrete had sunken more and was now becoming a huge tripping hazard. Now wanting to sacrifice safety in her outdoor oasis, the homeowner decided to find a company to fix the problem. One day, she saw an American Waterworks ad on TV and decided to give us a call to set up her FREE estimate appointment. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Kyle P, headed out to the home.
Once Kyle completed his walkthrough, he met with the homeowner to let her know that we could fix the sinking patio with the help of our PolyLevel method. PolyLevel is a dense, polyurethane foam that expands when injected beneath sinking slabs, filling voids left by soil erosion and slowly lifting the slab back into place. He went on to say that we completed our lifts with the installation of our NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant gets applied directly to the cracks and joints in the concrete and works to keep moisture and debris away from the soil beneath the slab. The homeowner agreed with Kyle's plan and scheduled the work to be completed a few weeks later.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Sam, and his team were able to lift and seal the entire patio. Now our customer can relax in her outdoor space without worrying about trip hazards!
