Sunken Concrete Sidewalk Repaired in Saint Paul, MN

A local American Legion in St. Paul, MN, worried their uneven concrete was going to become a major trip hazard. Hoping to repair the issue in the spring, the homeowner began looking for a company that could provide them with answers. The manager looked into "repair sunken concrete sidewalk" and began sifting through several companies. After looking through several options, the homeowner was impressed with our eye-catching before-and-afters. Knowing that we were the ideal company to work with, the manager decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the manager awaited the arrival of our Design Specialist, Dave. A few weeks later, Dave arrived at the home and started the thorough inspection of the exterior concrete. During the inspection, Dave noted that several slabs were sinking due to settlement. To stop the settlement from continuing, Dave recommended lifting and leveling the sidewalk back into place. Knowing this was their best plan of action, the manager decided to go ahead with the recommended solution. Next, Dave sent the solution to our Logisitics team to give the final stamp of approval. Once the plans were given the green light, our Logisitics team assigned the project to our Foreman, Troy. A few weeks later, Tory and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Troy and his crew began by inserting PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution, underneath the sinking slabs. Once all the slabs were lifted back to their original level, the crew shifted to inserting NexusPro in the cracks and joints of the sidewalk. NexusPro is a silicone-based solution that can withstand harsh weather conditions. Once all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The manager was given peace of mind knowing their concrete was properly lifted and secured. American Waterworks is happy to eliminate trip hazards for its homeowners.

Sunken Step Lifted in Saint Paul, MN

A homeowner in Saint Paul, MN, noticed that the first step of his stairs had begun sinking, causing a gap to form between the steps. Concerned it would be a trip hazard, the homeowner began to look into concrete lifting contractors in the area and found us. After looking through our website, the homeowner was impressed by our 5-star reviews and decided to contact our Appointment Center to schedule his FREE concrete estimate.

In about a week, our Design Specialist, Mitch S., arrived at the home to provide a thorough inspection. During the inspection, Mitch told the homeowner that it was good that he contacted us to address his concrete issues before they worsened. Unfortunately, it is extremely common for homeowners to push back concrete projects until they become a liability. After taking a close look at the step, Will recommended lifting it using PolyLevel. He explained to the homeowner that our PolyLevel is made of a waterproof foam expanding formula that allows for the accurate lifting of concrete slabs. Along with PolyLevel, Mitch also recommended NexusPro, our silicone-based sealant, to seal the joint. Trusting Mitch's expertise, the homeowner agreed to his recommendation and scheduled the installation date with our Foreman.

In about a month, our Foreman, Sam K., and his crew arrived at the home to carry out the installation. The crew began by drilling small holes into the slabs. PolyLevel is then injected, causing the slab to lift. Once it has been lifted to the desired height, the crew seals the holes. Lastly, they used NexusPro to seal the joint.

Now, our customer can have peace of mind knowing his step has been properly lifted without the headache of mudjacking or slab replacement! Have you noticed sunken concrete on your property? Click HERE to schedule your FREE estimate with one of our experts today!
