Uneven Driveway Gets Leveled in Eau Claire, WI

An Eau Claire, WI, homeowner was preparing his home for its eventual sale. Part of his "to-do" checklist was correcting his uneven driveway. Several of the slabs had sunken over the years, creating trip hazards. He knew that uneven concrete could lower the resale value of the home, so he decided to search for a MN concrete repair company. Eventually, he found our website and claimed his FREE estimate, and several weeks later, our Design Specialist headed out to the home.

Upon completion of his inspection, our Design Specialist met with the homeowner to deliver his recommendations. He informed the homeowner that we could address the issue using our PolyLevel. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected below uneven concrete slabs. It works to fill the voids left by soil erosion, and in the process, it slowly lifts the uneven slabs back to their desired location. Our Design Specialist was also recommending our NexusPro sealant. This silicone-based product gets installed after the lift is completed, and gets applied to the cracks and joints in the concrete to prevent water from penetrating the slab and getting to the vulnerable soil below. The homeowner liked the non-invasive plan and scheduled the lift to be completed several weeks later.

On the day of the project, our Foreman, Sam, and his team completed the lift and level with no complications. Now, our customer can confidently resell his home knowing his driveway is in tip-top shape!

In about a week, our Design Specialist, Kyle P., arrived at the home for the inspection. During the inspection, Kyle explained to the homeowner that soil compaction is one of the most common causes of sinking concrete slabs. Soil compaction is the process in which the soil compresses down due to the surface exceeding its weight-bearing capacity. Luckily, we have just the right solution that is non-invasive and does not require total slab replacement, PolyLevel. PolyLevel is our foam-expanding solution that accurately lifts sunken slabs. Alongside PolyLevel, Kyle also recommended NexusPro, our silicone-based sealant specifically engineered for joints and cracks. After reviewing Kyle's proposal, the homeowner happily agreed to his suggestions and decided to move forward with the project.

In about a month, our Foreman, Ryan T., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. The crew began the project by drilling small holes into the slabs. PolyLevel is then injected beneath, filling in the empty spaces in the soil. Once the concrete slabs have been lifted to the desired level, the crew seals the holes. Lastly, they used NexusPro to seal the joints and repair the cracks along the driveway. After they were done with the installation, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

In about a week, our Design Specialist, Canon T., arrived at the home to conduct a thorough inspection of the areas of concern. During the inspection, Canon explained to the homeowner that one of the likely reasons the slabs have begun sinking is due to the process of soil washout. Soil washout is when water moves through the ground and washes away supporting soils, keeping the slabs upright. For this reason, Canon recommended PolyLevel to lift the concrete slabs back to their original position. The homeowner happily agreed to Canon's recommendations, and his design was sent to our Foreman to carry out the installation.

In about a month, our Foreman, Sam K., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. The crew began by drilling small holes into the slabs and inserting the injection ports. PolyLevel is then injected beneath the slab, expanding and filling the voids in the soil, causing the slab to lift. Once the slab has been lifted, the crew seals the holes. After they're done with the installation, the crew cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
