When it rains or floods, water moves through the ground and washes away the supporting soils holding the concrete slabs upright. For this reason, Dave recommended our PolyLevel, a waterproof polyurethane foam expanding formula that is engineered to accurately lift sinking concrete slabs, and NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant that is highly flexible and durable for joints and cracks. In about a month, our Foreman, Patrick B., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. They began by drilling small holes into the slabs and inserting the injection ports. PolyLevel is then injected beneath the slab, expanding and filling in the gaps in the soil causing the slab to lift. Once it is at the desired level, the crew seals the holes with cement. Lastly, they used NexusPro to seal the joints and repair the cracks that had formed. After they were done, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
