Our Foreman, Brandon Wiskow, and his crew member injected 33 pounds of our PolyLevel foam underneath the concrete to stabilize and raise the surface. Next, our team applied our NexusPro over the cracks to prevent any further damage. Our NexusPro provides long-term flexibility, soil protection, and gives the concrete a clean and bright appearance. A homeowner in Kasson, MN was tired of dealing with the problems in his driveway space and wanted to make a change. Over the years many of the slabs had sunk and pulled apart which resulted in a bumpy, uneven surface that his car drove over every day. Additionally, the empty space in between the slabs had separated and allowed for weeds and grass to grow in the joints. A homeowner in Rosemount, MN, noticed the sidewalk leading to their front door was uneven and becoming a safety hazard. Knowing this issue would only worsen, the homeowner sought to have their sidewalk fully repaired. They began their search for a concrete repair company to complete their job. While scrolling through Facebook, the owners came across one of our concrete before and after's. After all the details were secured, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Mike, to estimate the status of the sidewalk. Mike determined that the sidewalk was sinking and it would only worsen over time. To fix the issue, Mike suggested a solution that would lift the sidewalk and repair all the cracks and joints throughout. The homeowners agreed with Mike's suggestions and production commenced. Our Foreman, Ryan, and his crew arrived at the home and began installing the PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injecting serum. The PolyLevel was inserted underneath the entire sidewalk. Next, the crew moved on to fixing the NexusPro Sealant Repair Solution. Each joint in the sidewalk was removed and replaced with the NexusPro Solution, a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks specially formulated to provide long-lasting flexibility and will stand up to harsh weather conditions. After all the joints and cracks were filled, the crew could clean up their materials and move on to their next project. The homeowners were thankful for the great work completed by the crew. American Waterworks was able to design a comprehensive plan to permanently lift and stabilize the sinking concrete slabs with a high-density polyurethane formula called PolyLEVEL.

The weight and pressure from the concrete was causing this slab to sink. This Elma, IA homeowner decided to call American Waterworks to fix it!

Our design specialist suggested PolyLevel foam injection to raise the concrete. PolyLevel is inserted through a small hole to fill under the sinking area. Polymer materials fill the space and slowly expand to raise the concrete back to its original state.
