Mr Reker reached out to us in July with concerns from all the heaving, cracking and uneven concrete he was noticing around his property in Mantorville, MN.
American Waterworks was able to design a comprehensive plan to permanently lift and stabilize the sinking concrete slabs with a high-density polyurethane formula called PolyLEVEL.
The weight and pressure from the concrete was causing this slab to sink. This Elma, IA homeowner decided to call American Waterworks to fix it!
Our design specialist suggested PolyLevel foam injection to raise the concrete. PolyLevel is inserted through a small hole to fill under the sinking area. Polymer materials fill the space and slowly expand to raise the concrete back to its original state.
These homeowners were so pleased with the outcome!
A homeowner in Elma, IA was tired of dealing with the large bump that had formed in between his driveway and the garage floor. Over time it had sunk which resulted in this problem and had become an issue for his car and more recently he noticed it was a safety hazard when he tripped on it. Not wanting the problem to get worse, he was determined to go online and find a solution. He searched for "how to fix sinking driveway" and was surprised with how many results showed up. He ended up going with American Waterworks because of our FREE estimate appointments and on the day of his estimate was greeted by one of our Design Specialists. The Design Specialist explained that our PolyLevel product was the best solution for the situation because it was strong enough to lift the concrete back up and less expensive than replacing the whole driveway. The homeowner agreed and later our Foreman, Troy Johnson, and his crew arrived at the site for the installation. They injected the PolyLevel foam and also filled in the empty joints with NexusPro for a smooth finish. The homeowner was excited to have a bump-free driveway again and thanked our crew for their work.

Robin A. of Inver Grove Heights, MN had a cracked and sinking sidewalk leading to her front door. She called American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Jarrett. Jarrett went to Robin's home to inspect her concrete and determine a solution. Jarrett proposed our PolyLevel and NexusPro, both of which are two of the most common concrete repair systems. Robin was comfortable with Jarrett's proposal and approach, so she went ahead with the installation.
Our Foreman, Sam, and his crew member injected our PolyLevel underneath each slab to fill the voids underneath the concrete and to stabilize the surface. Next, our crew applied our NexusPro over the cracks, which is a sealant that prevents moisture from seeping underneath and gives the concrete a nice, polished, finishing look. Robin was happy with the work and loved the new view of her sidewalk.
